I believe Morsi is scheduled to meet with Obama at the UN. This was the same Obama who didn’t have time for Netanyahu.
If we had a Republican president right now, the press would be asking, as they did with George Bush, “Why do they hate us?” with the assumed answer being, “It’s the fault of the President and his conservatism.” But no one in the MSM would think of blaming Obama and his weakness in opposing terrorism.

Morsi’s demand to ‘control such behavior,’ tips my hand to strongly consider Morsi knew about the whole plot. And now turns to demand curtailment of our First Amendment?
Morsi must have known about it, because the first place that the movie or its trailer was actually publicly broadcast was on Egyptian TV the day of the attacks. It was meant to stir up a mob to accompany the pre-planned 9/11 “celebrations.”
I am sure that Egyptian TV is very tightly state-controlled, and in that case there is no way that Morsi and the MB wouldn’t have known about this in advance.
