There is a new set of doors just off the Oval office. Its locked with hand and iris scanners for access. You walk down a long corridor and if you step on a particular floor panel, poison darts shoot out of the wall at you. There is a pit of snakes and a vine you must swing across, then you must cross a crocodile infested pond by jumping across their heads. Finally, there is a room criss-crossed by high power lasers and you have to slither through them without the slightest touch our a 50 ton stone falls from the ceiling, crushing you instantly.

If you survive all this, you get to a small chamber wherein is sealed Obama's birth certificate.

  Exactly - a large multi-storey pit with future work raising the total cost to $376 million, is not an overdue upgrade. Anyway, I'm sure it's just something for the next President of the US. Obama is very thoughtful that way.

No doubt a bunker, and probably to protect from a terrorist attack of nuke, bio and/or chemical weapons. The threat of such an attack is no doubt increasing.

At the nearby electrical substation and control center down the road from me they have completed improvements after about 4-5 years of work. What used to be a wood arm to let folks in and out is now replaced by a heavy, double gate. The 3-foot tall chainlink fence out front was replaced by a 12-foot tall brick wall with “decorative” open spaces in the walls (gun ports?) along with spaces filled with glass blocks.

They also did heavy construction for two years with trucks leaving with LOTS of dirt - but no new buildings. One rumor is they added three more floors underground - and seems about right considering all the dirt removed.
