Driver turns up to police station to pay traffic ticket with 137 origami dollar bill PIGS...

A man arrived at a municipal court this week and attempted to pay a $137 traffic violation ticket with 137 origami pigs fashioned with dollar bills and boxed in two Dunkin Donut trays.

A city clerk refused to accept his creative payment method however, and forced him to unfold each every one of his painstakingly made creations.

A policeman in uniform who arrives on the scene shows more of sense of humour and though he insists the man unfold each because they have 'no way to store it', he commends 'Bacon Mouse' for his work.

'I agree with you, that's pretty cool, that took a lot of time,' he says, chuckling as he snaps pictures with his camera: 'Little piggies in a doughnut box, I got I got it.'

The artistic ticket-holder takes three hours to unfold each pig, calling it 'the Great Dollar Pig Massacre of 2012', as the clerk finally bursts out laughing.

That’s not only good, that’s dedication! The anger that man must’ve felt to be compelled enough to fold that many origami pigs is astounding.

Glad the cop displayed some professionalism in the manner, but there’s really no crime being committed.

I would have given him a dollar for one.

Too bad he didn’t make origami dogs instead. Then the police could have used them for target practice.

Wow. That guy had a lot of rage and time on his hands. Good thing he used them creatively rather than destructively.

If the clerk had been wearing a burkha, he probably would’ve been charged with a hate crime.

The utterly useless overweight automaton yes-man clerk finishes: “Just a word of advice, put the creativity to something more useful.”

He should’ve paid in pennies. Unless the department has a policy refusing change for fine payments, they can’t refuse it...

BTW, where the hell does this guy live where red-light camera tickets are only $137?

And why the hell doesn’t that article ever mention the location?

There was a time when Police Officers were decent men who dedicated almost all of their time to solving real crimes. They were physically fit, and didn't consume brain altering substances like steroids to stay in shape. They actually cared about the communities, and knew the business owners and other civilians they were assigned to protect. Generally speaking, they were folks a regular American could talk to.

That time has long since passed.
