What You Can Do To Help Romney Beat Obama
Vanity | Sept. 13, 2012 | Ziva

Posted on 09/13/2012 8:30:01 PM PDT by Ziva

I live in NY, a hopelessly blue state. There is very little I can do locally to help Romney. However, they have an excellent phone-from-home system this year, much better than other phone banks I've done before.

I started making phone calls from home for Romney. It is easy, well-supported, and free. It is important to start now so they can target the right people. You can get started at http://www.mittromney.com/call-home-landing

I sat on my hands last election because I didn't like McCain. Even though Romney was not my first choice, our very existence is at stake now. Please pass this on to all your political friends. The calls made now help identify voters who can be moved to vote for Romney.

My goal is to make at least 10,000 calls. They really make it quick and easy. I do not want to be partly responsible for 0bama getting reelected.

If you are in red or purple state, then I hope you get involved with the local Romney campaign. If you are in a blue state, then please join me in doing what you can from home with phone calls.

Next, please pass this on to your friends also in red states. Let's create an army of workers bigger than the unions do for the Dems. And please let me know personally if this helped you get started working on the campaign.

I’m sad that my daughters live in a blue state too, just as bad as NY (Calif.). And they have to live with the consequences there, though most of the state actually does not vote democrat (same as NY), just the large cities, which dictates how the rest of the citizens have to live (survive).

I have seen one or two rethink their position.

I guess it's worth it after all......I admit to not always feeling so charitable........

I think Michigan will be in play for the first time since 1984.

I'm ecstatic, bam will have to spend a lot of money here, and he still might lose........

More likely a combination of trends in the last four years (the prior dem administration, Jenny the Screech Granholm ruined our economy), and Romney's dad was governor and a highly respected auto exec way back when. Name recognition.

Wow. How have they been voting for state elections? More conservative or similar/more liberal as in the past?

One would think. I do wonder, really, how many people are starting to wake up?

It was a rout for the R's in 2010. We have a RINO squish governor, and the entire state is a lot more conservative all the way down the ballots.

Trust me, our squish governor isn't as bad as Jenny G, although we have purists here that swear they're just the same....

Sound familiar?

But....if you’re a ‘pure conservative’ with ‘impeccable credentials’ as a ‘pure patriot’ you would NEVER vote for Romney...

Stickin' it to the GOPe is more important to some conservatives than beating Obama. I think they underestimate the amount of harm that Obama can do in a second term, when he will have "more flexibility."

oh yeah. The odor of sanctimoniousness lingers far too long...and is about as useful as it’s smell.

when he will have "more flexibility."

His own words. But, 'purity' matters more than saving America and Americans from a despot.

“God will honor your purity...”

That’s all that really matters in this life.

One would think. I do wonder, really, how many people are starting to wake up?

Those who produce, and are the source of the funds for the whole enchilada, will need to, out of self preservation, get thier butts to the voting booth, each and every time, to drive the agenda rightward, no matter how much or how little, per election.

One cannot any longer wait for a "ideal candidate" before going to the polls. They are few and far in between, and waiting for one allows the country to slide far to the left, while we wait.

In reality, only 50% are registered to vote, and only 50% of them actually vote. Out of that amount, it is usually fairly close, so....12.5% of the voters dictate where this country goes.

We can change that. We need to be involved, and get 10-100 more out to vote, each and every time.

Stop buying stuff you don’t need right now, new cars, new clothes, and IPhone 5, etc. Especially if it’s on credit. Tell everyone you know to do the same. If they are willing donate to Romney or if they are in a state with a close Senate race or House race donate to them. Get everyone that is not an Obama drone registered and get them to the polls by Tues Nov 6th if not sooner.

I think they underestimate the amount of harm that Obama can do in a second term, when he will have "more flexibility." You have put it in a nutshell. I hope we call all get through to them. There IS much more than a dime's worth of difference between the two parties, even if the Repubs aren't as conservative as I would like. They have to remember that the next President will make the next Supreme Court nominee.
