Returning to Washington for a brief session between their summer recess and fall campaign season, the House of Representatives on Thursday passed a spending bill funding the government into the next year. The funding extension, known as a Continuing Resolution (CR), keeps to the $1.047 trillion spending agreement reached between the parties and avoids a government shutdown until March 27, 2013, nearly five months after the November election. The federal government has continually relied on short-term funding extensions since 2009, the last time the Democrat-controlled Senate passed a traditional budget plan that set spending levels.

Okay, fine. Given that it's been 3+ years since the President has signed an actual budget into law, I'm guessing these Continuing Resolutions have been happening like clockwork all along in the Republican-controlled House. True?
If so, WHY?! (I'd ask my Congressman but, he's a liberal Pelosi puppet.) Are there just so many career politicians on the Hill, so completely devoid of any spine, so unwilling to take a stand for the future of the nation, that they refuse to even consider shutting down (only the non-essential services of) the federal government--because of what, the fear of how they'll be portrayed in the media? And how that might cost them some votes??!!!!!

Your Obama passed the dream Act Amnesty for illegals. Presidents can't do this but it did it anyway. You say Romney and Obama are the same but Romney won't violate the law like that .Obama is the same as Chavez or Stalin not Romney.
