Strange..... I live next to the University of South Carolina main campus. At noon during football season a PA system usually blares the crowing Gamecock followed by the USC fight song. Until yesterday.

Now, the noontime crowing is followed only by the words, “This is a test of the university emergency broadcast system. This is only a test.”

There’s a mosque across the street. It’s approaching noon on Friday & the robed figures are starting to gather. A few days ago in the nearby Food Lion I watched USC coeds in bikinis & coverups being glared at by Muslimahs in hijabs.

Something is afoot......

I have long speculated, that there would be a coordinated attack on multiple universities simultaneously. Campuses are the one place where Middle Eastern types can easily blend in.

Is that fight song still coming from a building down around, uh, somewhere off Sumter Street? I used to work at AgFirst from 1999 to 2004 (Marion and Hampton) and that building was a couple blocks from me. It played a rooster crow, then the “2001” opening, then the fight song three times a day, every day. 8, noon, and 5...except they never compensated for Daylight Savings Time so it became 9, 1, and 6.

Completely unrelated, but I went to a wedding held at a park in Ft. Lauderdale earlier this year. At the same time people were showing up for the wedding, a Muslim group was gathering for a picnic. The men were glaring at all of us, then one younger man smiled at all of us and yelled out "Allahu Akbar!"
