A Spring Garden man savagely beaten last summer by a bunch of teenagers has sued three of them for damages - and their mothers, for negligence.
Timothy McCoy, 37, had just gotten off a bus and was walking to the movies when a group of about six to eight teens attacked him without provocation as he walked south on Fourth Street near Walnut about 2 p.m. on July 29, 2011, according to the lawsuit filed this month in Common Pleas Court.

Who da daddy?
WHAT dads ?
Once he gets a judgement he can apply for “Bamabucks.”
When he wins he’ll have 3 EBT cards, 3 SSI checks, 3 WICK cards, 3 SNAP cards, 3 houseing vouchers, 3 disability checks and a pile of used Nike’s and hoodies.
Can they garnish their welfare checks?/s
From the comments:
“Everyone’s into green energy, right?
Well....when they give a sentence ‘with hard labor’...why not have a hamster wheel large enough for entire cellblocks.
Or that giant wheel that Conan the Barbarian had to push in his first film when he was a prisoner.
The punks...their moms....all the dirtbags that are vermin in our society are sentenced to making......ELECTRICITY!!!!!
Imagine a Prius or a Nissan Leaf zipping around, and knowing that the source of energy came from the hard labor of these violent, lawless dregs of society,”
Clever.
I’m personally convinced that part of any sentencing should involve paying for the damages inflicted upon another human being. If you cannot pay, you should remain a guest of the state working at minimum pay jobs until you have worked off the damages you caused.
Make them hand over their welfare checks for the rest of their lives.
Eric Holder's people can't get at us when we're in our own vehicles.
I live in Indiana, which has a very liberal CCW law and the Castle Doctrine. Had that happened to me there’d be 7 fewer “utes” Unfortunatelty the Ruger LCP only holds 6+1.
Who knows? That’s why they call it Mass Confusion on Father’s Day
I think you are underestimating.
Yobama wouldn’t allow that.
all of the moms know who the dads are...it is "get even" time girls. While many of the worthless sperm donors are already guests of the state in various slammers,it is ALWAYS worth your while to name them in your action. They could get out, they could win the lottery, they could have an inheritance....whatever....get their names on the dotted line!!!
That was my first reaction after reading the story, where’s the baby daddies?

EXCELLENT IDEA!
This is how they can "give back" for what they've taken from society.
You mean the sperm donor do you not? No daddys around.
“You mean the sperm donor do you not? No daddys around.”
Reminds me of a Rodney Dangerfield skit from SNL from back when they used to be funny.
This is exactly why they want to get us out of personal vehicles and onto “public transportation.”
In the NYC metro area (including North Jersey) everybody knows what they are, and knows better than to expose themselves to attacks by them. The areas are actually segregated very effectively; most working people (of any color) never see these “cash-for-kids” products unless they voluntarily go looking for them in their welfare reservations (Newark, NJ for example) at night. When I saw that some whites had been beaten/robbed after a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert in Newark, I figured they weren’t from within a ten-mile radius of the city - we aren’t that stupid.
