Last night on Hannity, Senator John McCain (R-AZ) clashed with Sean Hannity over whether the host predicted the Libyan violence when he had previously said their American-supported elections would result in a quasi-terrorist state.
“How is it that Sean Hannity and a few others of us out here predicted with pinpoint accuracy that the Muslim Brotherhood would be in charge in Egypt?” Hannity asked the senator. “Their first task when they took over the Parliament was to declare Israel, our closest ally, their enemy.”
“How is it that the administration with all their intelligence and the CIA — how is it that they didn’t see this coming?” he asked McCain of both Egypt and Libya, before disputing the notion that the Libyans had a free election: “They kept telling the American people, this is democracy. I don’t view the Muslim Brotherhood as democracy. They want Sharia law implemented now.”
“That’s not clear that that’s true,” McCain responded before accusing Fox of repeating a false claim about the Libyan elections:
It was you and people on Fox that said in Libya, “We didn’t know who they were and let’s not help these people.” They had an election and they elected moderates. They rejected Islamists. And yes, there are al-Qaeda factors and there are extremists in Libya today, but the Libyan people are friends of ours, and they support us, and they support democracy. So you were wrong about Libya.
“I don’t think I was wrong about Libya at all,” Hannity shot back.
“I know you were,” McCain responded. “They had a free and fair election, and a democratic non-Islamic government was elected. So you were wrong.”
“I was not,” Hannity said. “They didn’t think the Muslim Brotherhood would take over? This is a known terror organization. We say we are fighting

I once considered him a war hero. He is a Vietnam veteran.
I spent time in Vietnam recently. I know the younger people in Vietnam see our Vietnam Vets as war heroes. They understand the truth about our objective.
But there’s another truth they understand in Vietnam. They would easily prefer to live in their own nation they they would under the Muslim Brotherhood.
So, what’s McCain thinking?!?

I noticed that, too, and I just happen to agree more with Hannity than McCain on this issue. The Brotherhood are bad dudes.
It is just so way past time for McCain to retire. I would think he would have done it sooner so that he could be remembered as a hero instead of a doddering old senile numbskull.

As I watched Hannity’s show (first time in three years), it was obvious McCain was becoming madder by the second. Just before the commercial break, I could hear McCain sucking in air through clenched teeth, typical of him and others who are becoming enraged. I was surprised by the quick cut to commercial and thought to myself, “did Fox cut off this interview to protect McCain’s image or to head off an escalation of the confrontation or was this a scheduled break”?
Isn’t there a pasture somewhere, prepared for its old RINO?
McCain is still deceived. I cannot believe it! The Muslim Brotherhood used the democratic election as a front for their strategic efforts to take control of Libya as well as the entire Middle East! It was a con job by a extremist thug organization. McCain should have learned that much from the unfolding of events since last Spring.
We are in the beginnings of the Arab Winter with the Israeli Fall.
Because men like McCain have let themselves be deceived, they have opened up a deadly threat to our lone ally in the Middle East: The State of Israel.
We are witnessing the complete meltdown of our influence in the Middle East under the guise of a quest for Democracy. This was a total deception. Did people forget that for a Democracy to come about, men had to hammer out a Constitution first? Where was any mention of a constitution? There was none. Without a Constitution, there is no rule of law—there is no freedom! A Constitution is the establishment of a rule of law for a free people. The American people were deceived.
America, if left with the Obama Regime, will be left without our Constitution too. We will no longer be the beacon of freedom on the Hill. We will no longer be free.
Our President and his State Department under Hillary Clinton knew exactly where this Arab Spring was headed. They knew the chain of events necessary for the establishment of a democratic state. Instead, they allowed the chain of events necessary for the establishment of a new totalitarian movement, the Muslim Brotherhood, an extremist Islamic force. The Obama Regime wants a meltdown in the Middle East for their friends, the Muslim Brotherhood.
We were warned by the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood in our own government by Michele Bachmann, who was denounced by Senator McCain on the Senate floor:
“When anyone, not least a member of Congress, launches specious and degrading attacks against fellow Americans on the basis of nothing more than fear of who they are and ignorance for what they stand for, it defames the spirit of our nation and we all grow poorer because of it.”
McCain’s ignorance of the peril we are in because of the infiltration by members of the Muslim Brotherhood in our government, is frightening. His lack of alertness to what is happening is stunning.
Our alliance with Israel was the kingpin of America’s influence in the Middle East. We are witnessing the Obama Regime’s betrayal of Israel. I hope to God we are not seeing the final hours of the State of Israel by this betrayal. By the eliminating of the State of Israel, our influence in the Middle East will have ended.
The American People had better wake up to what is happening too. Too many have tuned out politics. They think it is all bickering about nothing and has no relevance to their lives. They tune out the news, don’t read newspapers and refuse to read anything political that comes in the mail. They will vote for Obama because it will be their way to shut up the other side. With the other side not talking, that’s less talk for them to hear. Because there are these type of Americans, their ignorance will soon come home to roost.
The West may wake up too late and find out how important Israel was to our survival.

Our ambassador and three others were just murdered and the embassy burned down by a jihadist mob in Libya. The Libyan gov. knew what was comming just like Obambam did and they did nothing to protect the American embassy and staff.
McBackstabber argues he was right and Libya is our moderate friend. I’m beginning to think “moderate” has a secret coded double dingdong meaning in DC that we have yet to crack. Maybe means jihadist in DC speak. At any rate Juan is a dangerous, politically correct, ignoramous so maybe that is what “moderate” means.
Juan is agitating that we go help the same “freedom fighters” in Syria, too.
