Just after midnight, authorities descended on the Cerritos home of the man believed to be the filmmaker behind the anti-Muslim movie that has sparked protests and rioting in the Arab world.
Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies escorted a man believed to be Nakoula Basseley Nakoula to an awaiting car. The man declined to answer questions on his way out and wore a hat and a towel over his face. He kept his hands in the pocket of a winter coat.
Sheriff's officials could not be reached by The Times, but department spokesman Steve Whitmore told NBC4 that deputies assisting the federal probation department took Nakoula to the sheriff's substation in Cerritos for interviewing.
Authorities waited until most media had left for the day.
Earlier Friday, sheriff’s deputies had to escort attorneys through a scrum of news cameras into Nakoula’s home. This time, authorities only had to avoid a lone photographer for The Times and a few other lingering reporters.
Nakoula has told the Associated Press he was a logistics manager on the "Innocence of Muslims" movie, not the director. He told a Coptic bishop Thursday that he had no role in it, the clergyman told The Times.

I may very well make my own version of a similar movie, I have always wanted to make my own film.
Now I will need....
A lot of bacon, access to a dog kennel, a pig farm, thousands of Korans, some thermite.
Islam has absolutely no clue what will be the reaction if millions of people fully armed and with a ton of resources decided to flood the internet with viral anti-islam messages.
And I won’t back down if Obamas goon squads ask me to stop, no way in hell.
Arrested? On what charge? Curious minds would like to know.
Since when has it become illegal to tell the truth about Islam?

It's simply too early to begin arguing merits of an undefined as of yet, criminal case, or a potential false arrest charge. Such discussion would only be based upon news articles which were composed of snippets of information given to local news outlets thus far.
However, you can rest assured that the man is represented by more than one attorney, as mentioned in the articles "attorneys," that said attorneys were present in the man's home most of the day, and that his attorneys were also present when their client was taken into custody.

Just curious here, did you see the movie trailer or have you seen the entire movie?
I ask because I have only viewed the trailer which was somewhere around 15 minutes long.
It was the worst thing on video I have ever seen. The trailer was made up of thrown together completely unedited scenes.
The dialogue was poorly written. The scenes had no evidence of any kind of direction, and the actors were awful. The audio was a combination of bad miking, little to no post production work and amateurish over-dubs.
The sets were poorly lit, the camera work was obviously done by an amateur, the costuming was absurd as was the make-up on the so-called actors.
One of those "actors" had on a fake beard that flopped and wiggled loose and jutted out at moments so often that the fake beard itself deserves top billing screen credit plus points before any human involved in the "project" gets paid.
That's my opinion of course, and if your opinion is that the movie version of the trailer is going to earn the man "millions"... okay, then.

This is a play on the title of Communist North Korea's "Dear Leader", which Koreans pronounce like 'Dear Reader' as well. :-)

Obama tears down leaders that are at least not hostile to United States and encourages those who hate the United States to take power in various Arab countries. Our embassies are attacked on 9/11. And the press and the President expect us to buy the story that a little tiny internet movie which nobody has seen has caused all this mess? Even those who don’t follow the world situation know that there’s something very smelly about this.”

I asked a question. Actually, it was a rhetorical question. The question was what do check kiting, meth making and probation have to do with who created the video?
Remember, there was a middle eastern themed movie this guy was involved with but the movie as created appears to have nothing to do with islam.
What has hussein and hillary upset is a YouTube video someone created from that movie in a manner not unlike the countless Hitler parody video's created out of scenes from the movie The Downfall (German Der Untergang).
The subject video that hussein, hillary, the mainstream media, hollywood, the ACLU and the muslim world are upset about was composed by someone who selectively edited and dubbed from the original movie.
Never let a crisis go to waste. I think this will help O win. Sad.
It is hard to believe that I could get the suave, sophisticated Roger Moore confused with the big fat slob, Michael Moore but I managed to do it.
I meant to say that the tendency on the left to legislate subjective hurt feelings can cut both ways. This tendency is especially apparent in efforts by the left to enshrine black hyper-sensitivities, witness the flap over use of the word "niggardly."
