Obama's Skipped Intel Meetings Under Scrutiny
Breitbart ^

Posted on 09/15/2012 8:38:09 PM PDT by chessplayer

A simple three-page report by the Government Accountability Institute tallying up the number of days President Barack Obama has attended his Presidential Daily Brief (PDB) on intelligence has ignited a firestorm of controversy that places the attacks on the U.S. embassy in Cairo and the murder of U.S. Libyan Ambassador Chris Stevens and three members of his staff in a new and critical light.

Now, with the Middle East ablaze, White House reporters on Friday once again pressed Mr. Carney on why Mr. Obama has attended less than half of his daily intelligence briefings, even as he makes time for parties with Beyonce and Jay-Z, as well as numerous fundraisers. According to ABC News, Mr. Carney did not dispute the GAI report's numbers or findings, but said it depends on what the definition of "attended" is:

Don’t get too excited. The ipad excuse will be enough for the press to let him off the hook.

“Obama religiously reads a written version of the same prepared material,...”

SO if we use religiously as the measurable it is pretty rare according to the press...

To hear Jay Carney's reaction when confronted with these facts, it is all a joke:

When the GAI report was initially reported in a Washington Post article by Marc Thiessen [on Monday 9/10], White House Press Secretary Jay Carney dismissed the report's findings as "hilarious."

The very next day, Ambassador Stevens and three American members of his staff were murdered.

Dear Leader is too busy giving interviews to the likes of “pimp with a limp”. Dear Leader is already intelligent, so why attend Intelligent briefings?

Yup. First he said they were hilarious. Now he says it depends on what the definition of ‘attended’ is.

"His record of evaluating and acting on intelligence, I think, speaks for itself," Mr. Carney said on Friday."

I agree.

If wanted Iran to think the U.S. would not step if Israel made a preemptive strike on Iran I would do exactly as Obama is doing.

I would make it look like I refused to meet with Netanyahu.
I would make it look like I was more interested in campaigning and appearances on the David Letterman show.

I would do all I could to make it appear as if the U.S. stepping in to assist Israel was the last thing the U.S. was planning to do.

Is that they plan?

0bama thinks the war on terror is over so he thinks there is no need for the briefings.

That kind of info in an iPAD? Now you’re talking a signals security problem!
Besides, the basic document that is given at the beginning of the morning briefing is probably no more detailed than a set of power point slides. Attending the briefing would involve getting a lot of other details, questions, and discussions. Quite frankly, I don’t think Barky gives a rat’s patoot about the briefing since his mind is already made up (or Jarrett has already made the “decisions”), besides, partying with celebrities and the homies is more important. This is getting into criminal negligence, deriliction of duty, etc.

Golf.

Reggie Love sexcapades (when he was there before Jarrett kicked him out.)

Fundraisers.

Napping.

Ice cream.

Bike rides on girl bikes.

Late night show tv appearances.

Daydreaming.

Praying to his father Satan.

Praying he could sucker people into one more term. Then he’d really have the freedom to do what he wanted.

Truly God cannot remove him fast enough. One thing’s clear, he’s done as president. This country is a disaster under him.

It’s like he’s made the entire country Detroit in just 4 years.

Let's see. Has the Fort Hood mass murderer's beard been shaved yet? Hmmm. When was that again? Oh, November 5, 2009. Three years since the "workplace violence" took place. Three long years that loved ones have waited, probably scheduled and rescheduled vacations, hotel rooms and all kinds of other things to attend the trial and see even one tiny bit of justice administered.

They had to investigate. I guess they still don't know whether or not Nidal Hasan was influenced by a jihadist.

"Investigators from the Defense Criminal Investigative Service knew of email exchanges between U.S. Army Maj. Nidal Hasan, accused of fatally shooting 13 people, and notorious terrorist leader Anwar Nasser al-Awlaki, but they halted their investigation before seeking a face-to-face interview with Hassan." [Source is Navy Times article 9/14/12]

I was reminded of this because the title of this thread is very similar to one dated 11/6/09: FOX NEWS: Obama's Response to Fort Hood Shooting Under Scrutiny
