In an interview with Meet The Press set to air Sunday, Netanyahu warned American lawmakers that Iran's leaders, like the protesters, are guided by an "unbelievable fanaticism."
"They put their zealotry above their survival," Netanyahu told MTP host David Gregory. "It's the same fanaticism that you see storming your embassies today. You want these fanatics to have nuclear weapons?"

Unfortunately, Netanyahu doesn’t have your “cunning” or “gift” for long term geopolitical strategy. [/s] He has to worry about keeping his country from potentially getting nuked by messianic Islamist religious fanatics. And he doesn’t even have the luxury of time anymore, so he can’t wait for these sanctions or other half-baked, ineffectual schemes other to start showing results.
BTW Cunning Fish....your name wouldn’t be Hilary Clinton, would it?
1—Nuke ‘em ‘till they glow in the dark.
2—Pi$$ on the ashes.
Works for me—or did Barry get rid of all the nukes yet?
Do you really think Iran will have a bomb in a couple of years? I think it won’t and even if it will (hypotethically) the West and Israel won’t be a primary target.
The truth is Israel has the means to stop Iran’s nuclear program without war. Just like US government had the ,means to kill OBL without this bitter invasion to Crapistan.
But for some reason political reasons are taking an upper hand over common sense.
The reality is Al-Qaeda building a superpower nation in North Africa and Middle East. It will be nuclear capable for sure and leaded by nutjobs making Iran’s mullahs look like a bunch of hippies.
And not only I can’t see if everyone in positions of power has a plan to solve it. They are either in denial and supporting this crap.
To the extent your comment is decipherable, I believe it is foolish.
Netanyahu is certainly not stupid; he is aware that Iranian nuclear weapons pose an existential threat to Israel(especially given their oft-expressed desire to annihilate Israel), and a general, but serious, threat to Europe and the USA. Of course, he does not want a war with Iran or he already would have done so. Also, I assume considerable doubt exists in the mind of the IDF that it can be successful without US support or without using tactical nukes.
I follow, I think, your comment about Iran and Al Qaeda being antagonistic to one another, i.e., Shia v Sunni. But have you ever heard the truism that “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” Well, why do you think it’s a truism?
I’ll tell you why: because it’s true.
It would only take a few well-placed nukes in Israel to destroy it.
Further, Israel has a right to preemptive action under the UN Charter. In my view, the magnitude of Iran’s provocation is close to justifying such action.
Like any thoughtful person, I don’t want another war, especially one in which the USA will certainly be dragged into fighting.
I am sick of wars in the ME, and viscerally, I would like to let the entire Arab and Persian dung pile enjoy the 7th century lifestyle they embrace.
However, if I had any say so in the matter, I would never let Israel face Iranian nukes.
Have you ever heard the expression “Never Again?”
I just saw this morning that Fox is recognizing that’s it’s Rosh Hashanah, surely that’s another reason to riot.
>>>BTW Cunning Fish....your name wouldnt be Hilary Clinton, would it?>>>>>
I don’t want to make it personal but it sounds like Hillary is you.
She could be happy to see another “Arab spring” in Iran to make sure if her Muzzie Bros pals are to take over this nuke program.
I’m not a friend of Iran and I think it has to be destroyed but it is as stupid to deal with a problem right now as starting to get rid of rodents at the time your house is on fire.
Where is Netanyahu’s statement on Al-Qaeda??
From your comments it’s obvious you couldn’t think your way out of a room with one door.
Go back to your bong and let the adults deal with this.
Have you been a dumb ass your whole life? Is English your second or third language? Can you put a coherent statement together? FReepers want to know.
Brilliant!!!! Wishful thinking is so much easier than facing reality.
Yes. I do...
Do you really think we have the "room" to be wrong?
Do you have any clue to the geopolitical implications of a nuclear Iran...?
OK people, I don’t want to be againts a mainstream.
Let the history judge it, Ok?;)

“a mainstream”? Your use of grammar in this and previous posts sounds like you aren’t of an English speaking background. Just what is your nationality?
Mr. Netanyahu is not being patient. He is doing his best to get the US to attack, because he wants us to fight his battles for him. Like any other country (except ours), he puts the interests of Israel above all else. Perhaps it is time we start thinking of what is best for the US.
I’ve said it before: I’d pay good money, which I don’t even have, for the unrestricted loan of the Israeli football for 5 minutes. Or 10 minutes to even take care of the odious European irritation.
Yes, you’re right. A destroyed Israel and complete unchecked Islamic hegemony over the entire middle east is what would be best for the U.S.
