Reagan didn’t bother with the nation building crap that has us bogged down in Afghanistan.
When Reagan fired on Libya it was strictly to punish and it had the desired result.
Thatcher took on Argentina in the Falklands.
Reagan took on Libya.
Together, they took on the USSR.
It worked out pretty well.
The apologizing, and appeasing, and bowing, and bending ... I don’t think the track record there is quite so good.
