Jewish institution hosts Judith Butler, who renews support of BDS movement; 700-strong audience cheers boycott call.
BERLIN - The internationally renowned Jewish Museum in Berlin hosted a podium discussion on Saturday with US academic Judith Butler, who renewed her calls to boycott Israel. It appears to be the first anti-Israel event held in the Jewish museum since its opening in 2001 with the aim of exhibiting the 2,000- year history of Germany’s Jews. At least 700 people attended the event.
The German taxpayer-funded museum’s decision to showcase a speaker in the capital city, which during the Nazi period served as the launching pad for a boycott movement against German-Jewish businesses, has raised eyebrows about the management’s direction of the museum.
n an email to The Jerusalem Post on Saturday, Professor Gerald Steinberg, who heads the Jerusalem-based NGO Monitor, termed the cultural institution the “Berlin anti-Jewish Museum.”
Butler, a professor in the rhetoric and comparative literature departments at the University of California, Berkeley, told a sold out audience in the courtyard of the museum that she accepts a “version of a boycott” against Israel, and stressed that the Boycott, Sanctions, and Divestment (BDS) movement is “non-violent resistance” against Israel. She claimed that “1,000 Jewish groups” agree with her.

This would be the “people who say they are Jewish but actually are not practicing Jews of any congregation”. These should be known as JINOs. There were very many of them who could be found assisting the National Socialist German Workers Party, who later treated them so well they invited them for permanent camps in the countryside (along with Poles, Russians, gypsies, Catholics, Lutherans, Coptics..anyone who defied the new State).
Appalling these people advocate to boycott Israel. Because without Israel there IS no homeland for Jews in the world, period. For JINOs this is not a problem— because they only trot out their “religion” when they are “offended” by orthodoxy, and of course everything they identify as “Zionism”.
