Lugar could take a hint from conservatives who recognize the urgency of keeping ‘Rats OUT of elected office, which is why they are joining ranks to get 0bama OUT, and Romney & Ryan IN.
So c’mon DICK, show some class as your long running career at the public trough comes to an end, huh?

Not that tight. I bet Murdock ends up winning +10

His Royal RINO-ness was not amused at being removed from his rightful throne-for-life.
If anyone ever had any doubts about whether dumping this b*tch was the right thing to do, His Highness just got rid of them.
Previously, my position was the Lugar deserved respect for his years of service EVEN THOUGH he now needed to be replaced for drifting leftward over the years.
But this? This tears it. To hell with him.

Years ago the pompous Lugar basked in the appellation “Richard Nixon’s favorite mayor.” Mourdock would have supported him had the outcome of the primary been the reverse. I wonder though if people in IN will support Mourdock. Many are much more liberal than their reputation.

Its because for all their pious lip flapping about us terrible "purists", nobody is as unbending as a moderate. If it weren't for conservative compromise, there wouldn't be any moderate republicans in congress. They'd all be democrats.

I would think that's a good thing in my book.
I would never even want to meet the POS RINO.

Exactly, “you have to close ranks behind the nominee” (unless, of course the nominee is Mourdock, Akin, or some other conservative that nauseates the establishment's sensibilities).

But yet, whenever a GOP-E hack wins a primary against a Conservative, the GOP-E demands that the Conservative in question immediately fall into line and back the winner.

I am sure he is better off without support from Lugar.
