Lawyers in Pakistan rally against anti-Islam film

ISLAMABAD (AP) — Several hundred lawyers protesting an anti-Islam video forced their way into an area in Pakistan's capital that houses the U.S. Embassy and other foreign missions on Wednesday, and the United States temporarily closed its consulate in an Indonesian city because of similar demonstrations.

The lawyers who protested in Islamabad shouted anti-U.S. slogans and burned an American flag after they pushed through a gate, gaining access to the diplomatic enclave before police stopped them. They called for the U.S. ambassador to be expelled from the country, and then peacefully dispersed.

The demonstration followed three days of violent protests against the film in Pakistan in which two people were killed. At least 28 other people have died in violence linked to the film in seven countries, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans killed in a Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

Much of the anger over the film, which denigrates Islam's Prophet Muhammad, has been directed at the U.S. government even though the film was privately produced in the United States and American officials have criticized it.

The U.S. Embassy in Indonesia sent a text message to U.S. citizens saying that the consulate in Medan, the country's third-largest city, has been closed temporarily because of demonstrations over the film, "Innocence of Muslims."

About 300 members of Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia, a pan-Islamic movement, rallied peacefully on Wednesday in front of the consulate in Medan, the capital of North Sumatra province. Later, about 50 Muslim students also protested there. Both groups called on Washington to punish the makers of the film.

Egypt issued warrents of arrest... Pakistan has their lawyers in the streets protesting and burning flags...

Folks, they are waging 'civilization jihad.' 0bama has shown them weakness, the apology tour has opened this door, and the reaction from Washington over the terrorist attack in Libya has let the genie out of the bottle.

It is no longer acceptable for 0bama to demand protection of our people in their countries. 0bama, those 'words' are not enough. They are demanding islamic law be handed out against people in our country. Their islamic law DOES NOT apply to Americans in our sovereign borders.

0bama, you need to get off your *ss and get out in front of this. This is not the time for your "leading from behind." This genie can't be put back in the bottle and it is time for you to admit to what really happened in Libya. It is time to demand these rioting countries hold their community organizers accountable for the mayhem they have and are causing from fomenting 'hatred.' It is time you DEMAND the islamic world act like 21st century society or face the truth of their intolerance.

Alas...you won't do any of this and Romney's voice is silenced by your cowardice. 0bama your re-election is not worth our Freedom.

When those Muslim lawyers show up at my door with an 'arrest warrant', they'll be staring down the barrel of my 2nd Amendment protected rights with pork fat coated bullets in the chamber.

BRING it you chumps.

Shouldn’t they be disbarred for their illegal trespass?

The o admin is to blame, not the film. Nobody knew of it until they made a scapegoat of it and its maker.

We should forcefully and concisely explain our first ammendment.
THEN.
Explain—That’s why we are in The United States of America, and you jerks are stuck here in your Islamic Cesspool of Pakiwhatever.

When you wanna join the civilized world, give us a call.

Please, no more of this phoney “respect”.

I know it won’t happen unless we go to war...like World War no holds barred ...not this nation building junk...

BUT,

We should pull out of the Middle East entirely. No American diplomats, no American money, no American business, no imports and no exports.

This kind of global collapse, yeah, I’m willing to go through it to keep my freedoms. Too bad that kind of containment action won’t work in today’s world...we’re too outsourced and 47% are too entitled.
