Chick-fil-A Allegedly Agrees to Stop Funding Conservative Groups Opposed to Gay Marriage
TheBlaze ^ | September 19, 2012 | Billy Hallowell

Posted on 09/19/2012 11:59:56 AM PDT by Daffynition

The seeds of chaos were planted in July when Chick-fil-A President Dan Kathy appeared on a radio show and publicly stated that his company opposes same-sex marriage. It didn’t take long for his statements to reverberate throughout the nation, with civil rights groups, media outlets and the public at large responding feverishly. This, teamed with the angst that was already created months before over Chick-fil-A’s past donations to groups that support the traditional family unit, created a furor.

With the dust having finally settled, a shocking report from a Chicago-based gay rights group claims that the fast food chain has now pledged to stop funding groups that stand against legalizing gay marriage. In a press release on Tuesday, The Civil Rights Agenda (TCRA) announced that an internal Chick-fil-A document shows that the company is re-thinking which organizations it will fund.

LOL, I doubt it. Cathy is not a stupid man, he saw the outpouring of support from traditional folks and the hate from the homofascists and leftists. Why would he side with them?

Yet, they have violate their own statement of leaving politics out of it, blah blah blah and caved to the pink mafia. No integrity or conviction of principles/faith. Disturbing.

It is disturbing that you did not understand the statement.
They are going to contribute to who they have always contributed - nothing changes.
They will leave politic to politicians.
You have a problem then don’t use their services.
My sister once said there would be more conservatives if it weren’t for conservatives, for the first time I agree.

Apparently AP, it does not matter one whit what CFA has said, the CFA statement is clear and it does not matter, there are those who came to the conclusion CFA caved and there is nothing you can say including their (CFA) own statement will change their minds.

I suggest you look at the date of the statement you posted, and then reread the article.

As for your whiny assertion about conservatives, I supported them during this entire lynching. But if what they article alleges is true, I will not support anyone who folds under political pressure and abandons their principles.

If you have a problem with that, perhaps you need to redefine your definition of moral integrity.

No, honey, what matters is since that statement, CFA is back peddling according to what is asserted in the article.

Read post 80. Sounds like CFA via Windshape will no longer fund groups that support traditional marriage.

IOW, they caved to political pressure.

Oh grow up. This issue has been going on for weeks and weeks.
The statement was put out when it was necessary to be put out, it is liberals not CFA who reported it late.
Given your hysteria, I stand by my sisters statement, if it weren’t for conservatives there would be more conservatives.
No, sweetie you need to not be hysterical.
CFA did not cave, they are still funding who they have always funded. Do you not beleive their statement? Are they liars?
They are continuing what they have always done and leaving the discussion on homosexual marriage in the political arena.
If you do not like their stand, call them and tell them.

Why do we always cave on the absolute most important point but the other side never does?

Why?

Why???...Perhaps...because they have experienced ...we ALWAYS CAVE...

There does not exist any incentive, any threat, any argument, any pressure for them to 'cave'.

In a way, we reward bad behavior.

And so, Mr. Pillar of Conservative Wisdom... what if CFA decides to no longer donate money to support traditional marriage? Will you and sissy rant against conservatives again?

Or will you continue to whiny about conservatives who don’t follow your definition?

**Question with boldness ...**

As far as I know, we’re all covered by the First Amendment.

Distasteful as some of this palaver is, it should be out there for examination and discussion.

If it’s the truth then all Christians should boycott these worthless chickensh*t bastards. See how long they can stay in business with the majority of their customers liberals queer lovers. I can just see it now. The only people that go into Chick Fil-A are drag queens and dykes and half naked fags with lipstick on. If this is indeed true, and from what I can find out it is, Chick Fil-A is more interested in a dollar and making the degenerates happy that it is in running a wholesome family oriented establishment.

From Christian Science Monitor. They caved. Profits mean more than standing up for God and family. I’ve bought my last sandwich from Fag Fil-A.

Do you see the word “allegedly”?

Do you see the source as “The Blaze”?
