I doubt any of these black Virginians are going to vote for Romney. I suspect a good chunk of them will stay home. I seriously doubt Obama is going to turn out better numbers in 2012 then he did in 2008.

It says on Rasmussen's webpage plain as day that this poll was taken yesterday.

I looked through your posting history and you've said some factually incorrect things, including Romney is out of money, Romney is pulling out of CO, and so on.

But the most factually incorrect thing is that you seem compelled to point out that you hate telling us bad news, when in fact you seem to spend every post on FR doing this.

Everyone is waiting for the Romney signs--it is to be another week or so before they're in. I know nothing about Obummer's signs. If they're available now but not popping up, that is a good sign.

A trip through the Fourth District shows lots and lots of King signs, with almost no Vilsack signs and in the Third District, Latham signs greatly outnumber Boswell signs.

The Iowa poll shows no shift as the daily. This leads me to believe that the Rasmussen daily has a bad day or two in it, especially since weighting other recent polls more realistically, if a bit pesimistically for Romney, yield a trend toward Romney. That was what I was trying to say in a hurry.

I am hopeful. I always worry about the format since it is run by the same media figures distorting the race on a daily basis. I am hoping at this point that Romney is going to go on a major offensive in October, pinning the situation on Obama policy. They better, because right now, the media and dem campaigns have created a narrative of recovery. Romney can’t win if the voters buy that lie.

Well, they kind of did just that this last time with the 47% tape when they immediately released the tape of Obama saying he believes in redistribution. I hope the Romney people have a few aces up their sleeves as well. With Obama’s background, there should be a wealth of stuff out there to counter with or to initiate.

People need to realize the Media is going to use the Debates the same way they do polls.

There has NEVER been an occasion where the media has come out and claimed the GOP won it. The best you can hope for is a grudging admission of a tie. The media will use push polling to generate polls showing Obama “won the debate”.

Do not fall for it. Trust your own instincts. They will be a lot closer to the truth then what the Media reports about the Debates.
