FRANCE BANS ALL MUSLIM PROTESTS

Gus Lubin
September 21,2012

French interior minister Manuel Valls just confirmed that no protests would be allowed over the Mohammed cartoons, according to Reuters.

"There will be strictly no exceptions. Demonstrations will be banned and broken up," he said.

Think that'll pacify the 10 percent of France who are Muslims?

France has already closed 20 embassies around the world in fear of backlash. Too bad it cannot outlaw protests in these countries.

I completely agree. If the muzzies want to PEACEFULLY protest, fine, but I think killing people is a little much.

I’ve been saying for a while now that I expect I will see concentration camps in Europe within my lifetime. The only question is, Who will be running them?

I am not sure they will just be in Europe.

My daughter has a very good friend who is on a two year mission trip in Marseilles and when she emails us, she can’t type “God, Jesus, Lord” because they are afraid of the muslims. Their ministry is aimed at muslims but they know they are not safe where they are because of muslims. They are evil people.

Deport all non-native malefactors. Quick trial by the dock, slow boat back to Algeria. Phone token to call family and say ‘bye. Do not come again, even to visit. If your wife misses you, she’s free to follow after at her own expense with the kids. au revoire.

They made babies, and the government subsidized it.

"France banned all muslim protests? How did we overlook such a brilliant idea, Abdullah?"

"They are geniuses Mohammed, we could never have anticipated this counteraction to our protest plans! Curses, foiled again! Back to the drawing board."

"Clearly this brilliant tactic could not have been thought of by the French on their own, so it had to come from some Alien advanced civilization that must be secretly advising them!"

But what France proposes to do is ban ALL Muslim demonstrations. This is not a road we here in the United States should head down.

The government just needs to show the connection between Muslim protests and the inevitable breech of peace. Like this:

Won't fly here. Nor should it. From the Brandenburg case.

Held: Since the statute, by its words and as applied, purports to punish mere advocacy and to forbid, on pain of criminal punishment, assembly with others merely to advocate the described type of action, it falls within the condemnation of the First and Fourteenth Amendments. Freedoms of speech and press do not permit a State to forbid advocacy of the use of force or of law violation except where such advocacy is directed to inciting or producing imminent lawless action and is likely to incite or produce such action. Whitney v. California, 274 U. S. 357, overruled.

The French are a funny people.

Prissy, elite, snobs who at times will surrender to anyone who walks by.

But at times, they get their blood up, and raise all sorts of hell. If they feel their nation is truly at risk of extinction, they will act. Often in a quite bloody fashion.

I am not at all happy to be making this prediction.”

The Christian West Europeans face one of two (and only two choices) re the “Islamic problem”:

1. Boxcars, or...
2. Burqhas.

If they cannot find within the intestinal fortitude to choose option #1, they WILL end up with option #2.

A difficult choice (or perhaps not, depending on one’s sense of self-preservation).

But that’s what they face.

Won't fly here.

Opps... Too late. It already did.

Nearly one year to the day since his plan to host a protest in front of Dearborn's Islamic Center of America was thwarted, anti-Islamic pastor and Florida politician Terry Jones said he is coming back.

On April 22, Jones and Sapp were found "likely to breach the peace" by a jury in Dearborn after their planned protest brought them to the 19th District Court. In that decision, Dearborn Chief Judge Mark Somers ordered Jones and Sapp to pay a $1 peace bond each, and to stay away from the Islamic Center and adjacent area for three years. They refused, and were briefly jailed.

Let’s take this case on up the appeals process and see where it winds up.

Very true.

And think of this. One of the reasons we stayed in Europe after WWII was to keep everyone from having another go at each other. As our power wanes, they will feel more enabled to go play “Whack you Neighbor”.

And it already has been appealed and look how it turned out.

Terry Jones’s Dearborn Protest Takes Place Without Incident

Quran-burning Pastor Jones used the Islamic Center as a backdrop to discuss what he says are signs of Sharia Law in Dearborn.

April 7, 2012

Last year, Jones and his associate Wayne Sapp were found “likely to breach the peace” by a jury in Dearborn after their planned protest on Good Friday brought them to the 19th District Court. In that decision, Dearborn Chief Judge Mark Somers ordered Jones and Sapp to pay a $1 peace bond each, and to stay away from the Islamic Center and adjacent area for three years. They refused, and were briefly jailed.

Jones and Sapp appealed the ruling, and a Detroit judge overturned the ban on Nov. 11.

On Monday, April 2, the Thomas More Law Center filed a lawsuit on behalf of Jones and Sapp, alleging that the city of Dearborn violated the two men’s free speech rights. The claim is based on the fact that the city has asked Jones to sign a “hold harmless” agreement releasing the city of any responsibility for damage to his property or personal injury during his protest.

A federal judge on Wednesday issued an order allowing Jones to proceed without the signed document, and asserting her belief that the city’s hold harmless agreement is unconstitutional.

Jones’s lawsuit will proceed to the courts, the Thomas More Law Center confirmed Thursday.

Let’s take this case on up the appeals process and see where it winds up.

Here's where it winds up:

Jones appealed his prosecution, saying it violated his right to free speech. A Wayne county Circuit Court Judge ruled it actually did not. But he still reversed the jury’s decision on a due process technicality.

There you have it.
