House Republicans are pressing forward with their contempt of Congress civil case over Operation Fast and Furious despite the release of a book-length investigative report that lawmakers on both sides of the aisle praised as comprehensive.

“We have no choice,” Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., said on Fox News when asked about pursuing the court case.

The chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee explained that the contempt of Congress vote against Attorney General Eric Holder earlier this year essentially “ordered” lawmakers to go to court to attempt to pry loose from the Obama administration documents they have withheld.

When the investigation began, I had some doubts about Issa to go along with my hope, but he looks like the real deal and I hope President Romney opens whatever doors have been barred by the obama/Holder team obfuscation so we can finally learn the truth.

In the meantime, obama blatantly repeatedly lied to the Univision audience about it over and over again.

While here in fantasy land, our media thinks the Univision interviewers were too hard on their poor baby prez.

I have nothing left but disgust and hatred for all of them. My lord, what they have done to us and all the while the msm just fawns and lies and then goes after obama's critics.

The court case is about the Contempt charge against Eric Holder. Nothing in the IG report relieves Holder of that charge.

Of course the case must go forward.
