It is a measure of how skewed the reporting is and how intellectually inconsistent is most of the “analysis” from the mainstream media that while Mitt Romney’s comment on the embassy attacks held the attention of the press for days (when in fact he had correctly surmised that the administration was trying to make excuses for the embassy attack by expressing regret over an anti-Muslim video)), there has been comparatively little concern with a much more critical story: Did the Obama team intentionally lie to voters (or just shoot first and aim later) for a week about what it knew, and did the deaths of four Americans result, in part, from defective security and preparation at the Benghazi consulate?

There is, as always, a media scandal here, a deliberate effort, conservatives believe, to construct narratives that favor the president. But that is small potatoes compared with the mounting evidence of a scandal in the Obama administration. If the administration was negligent in planning, convinced of its own spin (the war on terror is over!) and politicized national security to aid the president's reelection campaign, that is all a big deal. In any event, it should make for an interesting foreign policy presidential debate.

You get all sorts of points for coming up with a creative concept that I like, but, regrettably, it would have been safer to stick him in Malta than put him in Benghazi.
They knew he was coming to Benghazi. It was public.
President Nixon was run out of office because his administration supposedly lied and covered-up a bungled attempt to look at some Democrat documents.
The Obama administration has been lying and covering-up over their incompetence which resulted in the deaths of four Americans including a United States Ambassor who represented all of us.
Which is worse, sneaking a peek at some Democrat papers or gross incompetence that results in four dead Americans?
Obama and Clinton need to go and they need to go immediately. Where is the Washington Post front page on this? Where are Woodward and Bernstein? Where is Robert Redford?

But why is Romney quiet? He should be raking Obama over the coal over this. Talk about a failure to “connect the dots”!
He should get Obama to admit that even offending speech should not only be legal but must be defended.

You got it. The Administration’s cover is blown; and now the back-up story is not fully answering the right questions.
You take what’s known and then you look for the simple answer.
1. Clearly, Stevens felt safe enough on 9/11 at 9:30PM to be at the Consulate with just 3 other “known” Americans.
2. The media has not interviewed, or identified, any of the other employees of the Consulate that were “saved” that night and taken to the safe house.
Interesting that no one has asked them what happened or interviewed them.
I’m reminded of Camp Chapman, Dec 2009. I don’t think it’s complicated.

The way you get the MSM to cover you is the way Newt did it. You go into “Meet The Press”, “Face the nation”, “Madcow”, etc. and you challenge the hosts that are grilling you. You put them on the defensive.
My theory is that Romney and Obama play for the same team.
You can only do that on a live venue free from editing.
Did you see this article. Did some research on this woman and she has dual citizenship in Iran, has made propaganda for the Iranian regime. He was rumored to be gay so the blind date story is curious. Could she be a contact?, playing him?
This woman had way too much access and most of her stories show how great woman are treated in Iran. Can you say propaganda ?
