President Barack Obama is about to release or transfer 55 Gitmo prisoners, despite reports that the Libyan believed to be behind the killing of US Ambassador Christopher Stevens was a former Guantanamo inmate transferred to Libyan custody.
The large percentage of those scheduled to be released are Yemeni, according to a list made public by the Obama administration.
Obama stopped the release or transfer of Yemeni inmates in 2010, because the conditions in the country were viewed as too "unsettled" at the time.
A release or transfer of 55 inmates means Obama is moving out one third of the prisoners at Guantanamo. And while it doesn't represent a shutdown of the facility, it's certainly indicative of a move toward that end.

Can anyone recall a single Muslim terrorist convicted by our military since he took office? I believe that Obama’s faith prevents him, as Commander in Chief of the Armed Services, from allowing a military trial to sentence a Muslim to death. Thus the attempt to put KSM in a NY civil court and the interminable delay of Gitmo and Hassan Nidal trials.
Bush really screwed up by not ordering fast military tribunals followed by hangings for the guilty.

Apparently you don't realize Obama is working for the Muslim destruction of America, Europe and Israel. Obama IS A MUSLIM terrorist. Once you realize that, it will all make sense.
The economy is crap, our money is crap, the ME is blowing up, the two largest foreign holders of US debt (Japan and China) are threatening to go to war over some forsaken islands no one else gives two craps about, our strongest allies don't trust us, we've snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in Iraq and Afghanistan, gas is a full $2.00 more than when he took office, one of our Ambassadors was just beaten, raped, killed, and dragged through the streets, and we are staring down the barrel of the largest set of fees punitive tax increases imaginable.
I expect more free money programs, amnesty, and the release of freedom fighters terrorists from Gitmo between now and the election. By hook, crook, or Cook (county).
You should'nt talk about our president and his team that way, the secret service may be listening, and after all, he is endorsed by 47% of the country
This way, Romney will inherit the mess. Some action on our part will be needed. Hence, the Dems will whine and say Romney wanted another war.
They care nothing, nothing for our country. It is all about winning...and if they can't win they will do everything to try and destroy Romney when he is in office.
I truly pity any person who wants to run for president against the Democrats today. I can't imagine anyone getting out of the mess that has been created and is coming.
I was surprised and please to hear Romney talk about reducing the size of the Federal Government by shifting some responsibilities to the States to administer as they chose.
We could totally eliminate several Rogue Federal Departments and everyone would benefit.
And that is the only way we can remove the entrenched Commies who are downing the nation. The ONLY WAY!
The next time we catch them, we should kill them right there, right now....no Gitmo, no prisoners. What a bunch of BS this clown has bestowed upon the American people.
