Chris Wallace Asks Obama Adviser 'President Has Time for Whoopi Goldberg But Not World Leaders?' By Noel Sheppard Created 09/23/2012 - 10:22am
Fox News's Chris Wallace on Sunday asked senior Obama campaign adviser Robert Gibbs an absolutely delicious question about the current White House resident's schedule.
During a Fox News Sunday interview, the host said, "The President has blocked out time to appear on The View on Tuesday. So, he has time for Whoopi Goldberg but he doesnt have time for world leaders?" (video follows with transcript and absolutely no need for commentary):
CHRIS WALLACE, HOST: I want to go back to the UN though and New York this week. You say that hes got schedules, that foreign leaders have schedules. But the President has blocked out time to appear on The View on Tuesday. So, he has time for Whoopi Goldberg but he doesnt have time for world leaders?
ROBERT GIBBS, OBAMA SENIOR CAMPAIGN ADVISER: No, Chris. Look, the President is going to be actively involved at the UN General Assembly.
WALLACE: Hes not meeting with any private leaders. He's giving a speech.
GIBBS: Chris, they have telephones in the White House. Last week, he talked to the President of Egypt. He talked to the leader in Libya. We don't need a meeting in Washington just to confer with leaders. Weve got a strong...
WALLACE: But he does need the time to be on The View?
GIBBS: We have a strong diplomatic Im sure if he was doing an interview with you on Fox News, youd have no problem with that.
WALLACE: Well, he hasn't, but thats not the point.
GIBBS: Im sure thats not the point. No, look Chris, hes got a strong schedule. Hes actively involved.
WALLACE: You don't have a problem with the fact that hes not meeting with any world leaders, but hes going to appear on The View?
GIBBS: I have no problem with that, because, Chris, youre the President of the United States every minute of every day.
But he also held real news conferences and met in person with real leaders.
I’ve noted that when a pol prefaces their response with “Look” or “Listen”, what follows is pure, unadulterated horsesh**.
I have no doubt obama considers whoopie goldberg...a world leader.
..but just wait until we start burning it, and see what happens.
A reprise of the Bill Ayers (that Commie SOB (with apologies to all the SOBs out there) seems to be in order...
IIRC, the meeting with Bono was in regard to the effort to stem AIDS in Africa, for which W is still revered in Tat continent. He was not posing with a celebrity just to seem hip.
In the Hollywierd world of Leftists and the Uber Rich, Whoopi Goldberg is a World Leader. You can’t fill your pockets doing your job as President.
So just how does an honest President go into the job with less than a million bucks, and less than four years later buy a Thirty Million Dollar Mansion on the beach in Hawaii?
Selling Girl scout cookies on the side? Mr Obama, YOU DID NOT MAKE THIS!
Respond to Post 27 below please.
fixed it...
Am I missing something, or is this thread about Bush and not Obama avoiding being a leader?
If you haven’t noticed, Bush hasn’t been president for almost four years now.
And nobody ever had to worry about his love of country. Unlike now.
So, I guess the White House doesn't care to evaluate body language, too, when conferring with foreign leaders?
How one-dimensional of them.

Some mea culps from the mindless Bush haters who make an absolutely absurd analogy between Bush meeting with entertainment figures and world leaders during his 8 years in office to an Obama Presidency who avoided meeting with world leaders in a time of crises to meet with entertainment figures would be nice
So sadly typical. Since your candidate is Obama, who has completely failed at everything while President, the only thing you are left with is these absurd attempts at diversion and distraction.
Rather then squeal daily irrelevant rants about Bush, how about you finally try one time making a case FOR your guy Obama?
Or when they say “let me be clear” you are about to hear a long litany of bold face lies.
Bono Praises George W. Bush for Saving Millions in Africa, Prendergast Credits Bush for Peace in South Sudan
By Brad Wilmouth | July 19, 2011
A truly amazing coincidence happened on Monday night as former President George W. Bush was praised for helping millions in Africa by two separate public figures in two unrelated matters - the fight against AIDS in Africa, and South Sudans successful fight for independence - on two different television shows.
As rocker Bono of U-2 appeared as a guest on CBSs Late Show with David Letterman, he praised President Bush for helping to save so far five million lives in Africa over the past eight years because of his push to supply treatment to AIDS patients.
And on Comedy Centrals Colbert Report, guest and human rights activist John Prendergast of the Enough Project, when prodded by host Stephen Colbert, noted that it was under Bush that America used its influence to help the South Sudanese secure a peace deal with the north.
LOL, and when they’re “absolutely clear” you can be absolutely sure of it...
There is no way this piece of thing will ever replace our flag. Americans take a lot and can be pushed far but... I believe this will not be favorable received. Besides... it is NOT our flag. Plain and simple.
