By a vote of 81 to 10, the Senate on Saturday defeated legislation that would have suspended foreign aid to Pakistan, Egypt and Libya in the wake of the violent anti-American demonstrations in those countries. All 10 supporters of the bill were Republicans.

I notice that BOTH CINOs from Texas voted against. Losers. Thank God KBH is out in January.
That's why I now pretty much exclusively use the term CINO, because they are republicans, but are Conservative In Name Only. (i.e., when they run for re-election.)
You are correct. You should have seen KBH “trying” to “talk” conservative at the TX GOP Convention in Ft. Worth. She was not booed but saw lots of head shakes and she got very litle applause.

Wow! Glad to see Alabama’s Richard Shelby voted to cut aid. Usually he’s a RINO. But then I see Jeff Sessions vote Nay. Makes no sense...
UNLESS...
Knowing that Shelby will have an election in 2016, this may be to give him cover for that time in a very Christian conservative state.
But Sessions is up first in 2014.
I don’t know what to think. I suppose the various senators knew the vote would fail, so all the Yea votes were just so much political posturing.
I think there are some otherwise conservative members who voted as they did because Paul sponsored it. There was similar bill sponsored by Ishtook in OK.
I am not saying that I totally understand this. Only stating this is what the roll call vote was. It was rather hard to find the roll call vote. Could not find it on senate.gov or thomas when I looked.
