Methinks there’s more to this than what’s visible on its face. A few weeks ago our dear leader made statements that we should consider revising the First Amendment. Now Nancy Pelosi says that if the dems win back the House, she’ll initiate a Constitutional amendment to void Heller. Now we have the State Department playing ads all over Pakistan blaming our First Amendment for all the ills causing rioting and unrest,
I’m starting to believe that these episodes are an orchestrated attack to back door us into revising the First Amendment.
Our dear leader will come out (if he wins re-election) and say that we must give up some of our free speech, not because of his beliefs (avoiding any blame or responsibility), but due to world opinion - in spite of the fact that this First Amendment, for more than 225 years has kept the government at bay, has kept the government from imposing religious beliefs on any of us, has been one of the key components (when joined by the Second Amendment) that allow us to enjoy our freedoms.

This is rich, coming from a country that routinely tosses Christians in jail for “blasphemy” against a “prophet” and a “holy book” they don’t believe in. Islamic “tolerance” is strictly a one-way street.
