Uh, Guys? Obama's Really Sorry! Your Tax Dollars at Work, Paying to Air a Message of Weakness

Call it a video reprise of the Obama Apology Tour: "The American Embassy in Islamabad, in a bid to tamp down public rage over the anti-Islam film produced in the U.S., is spending $70,000 to air an ad on Pakistani television that features President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton denouncing the video," the Associated Press reports.

Has there ever been an example when appeasement in the long run ever worked? How long did the second worst appeaser in memory let his infamous document from the Fuehrer flap in the wind before it proved to have been a fool's dream, peace in our time?

I think Chamberlain might have meant "peace on our Time".

The latest misguided foreign policy move by Obama of offering an apology regarding an anti-Islamic film via an ad on Pakistani television is the wrongest message to the wrongest of crowds.

Apologies, by its very nature are merely for the purposes of emotional amelioration, have a time and place attuned to a certain set of circumstances, are effective n the right situation but only makes a bad situation worse.

Apologies as an instrument of foreign policy, especially in the case of America and their relationship with the Muslim world is pure folly that only makes America look even weaker and more feeble than ever. The abject hatred and hostility of the Arab/Muslim world towards America so very deep-seated has an apology only serving to precipitate a cycle of more appeasement, hatred, utter loss of respect, having quite the opposite effect to what Obama believes will mollify the barbaric rage of the Muslim world.

Here's my apology to the primitive Muslim barbarians:
