PESHAWAR, Pakistan (KGO) -- In Pakistan Friday, violent protests over an anti-Muslim film left at least 17 people dead and more than 100 wounded across the country.
Protestors clashed with police in several major cities, even though Friday was a government declared holiday designed to allow peaceful demonstrations. Police fired tear gas and live ammunition at thousands of demonstrators who threw rocks and set fire to buildings.

The OBozo administration spent $70K of our taxpayer dollars to run TV ads on Pakistani television today, apologizing to Pakistani Muslims for a youtube video that none of them have seen. Most of them might not even have heard of it if Obozo and Hillary weren’t all over their teevees telling them about it.
The Pakistani government declared a national holiday today so that the “peaceful” Muslims could all go out and riot. So far there are 17 dead and hundreds injured as rioting continues.
But, hey, Romney released his 2011 tax returns today, so that will give all the media something else to yammer about instead. Move along, nothing to see here.
They need to pick up the pace a bit. They are still breeding evil faster than they can remove them from society.

This follows up on something he said in 2004, when he suggested that he would support launching missles against Pakistan and Iran to prevent extremists from getting nuclear weapons.

- An internet movie no one has seen in a country without widespread internet access has caused riots.
- The people that haven’t seen this movie hated it so much that they decided to kill at least 17 of their countrymen.
- Our government spent $70,000 telling these people that hadn’t seen this movie, that there was this movie they should be really offended about and we’re sorry it exists.
- The people that didn’t see this movie got the day off to protest the movie they’d hate if they had seen it.
- These people that didn’t see this movie hated it so much that they set fire to everything in sight, fought with each other and injured hundreds if not thousands.
- Islam is a religion of peace.
- Pakistan is our ally.
