Democrats likely to retain Senate as four critical races shift in their favor
Yahoo News | The Signal ^ | 9/24/2012 | David Rothschild

After weeks in which the fate of the Senate simmered at nearly even odds of flipping for Republicans or remaining in Democrats' control, the outlook has shifted dramatically in the Democrats' favor. The incumbent party now has an 80 percent chance of retaining its majority, according to the Signal's prediction model.

The break is largely due to critical races in Missouri, Wisconsin, Massachusetts and Virginia, all of which have favored the Republican at some point in the past month and now favor the Democratic candidate. ...

Yahoo is among the worst, most simplistic and biased news sources there is. It’s headlines are ore slanted than CNN or NYT

I’m telling you right now, Warren has no chance of beating Scott Brown.

She’s got issues she can’t shake. New one today. The “vibe”, for what it’s worth, is a against her. She looks like a loser.

Not to mention the dirty little secret that supposedly liberal Mass. voters have a tough time voting for women to statewide/federal office. Don’t ask me why, they just do.

Let them keep scaring the hell out of everyday Americans who see the Democrats ripping their lives apart. They are too stupid to realize that it is that fear and anger that drove the 2010 election.

By creating martyrs of us, more of us will rise to fill the gaps as if we were the last vote.

I’d take a macaca candidate over Tim Kaine, the crook (he took a salary as head of the DNC while supposedly serving as Governor of Virginia. He left us hundreds of millions of dollars in debt. The Republican governor who succeeded him has wiped out that debt and given us a multimillion surplus in less than two years.)

Kaine looks like that idiot alien in “Galaxy Quest” and is far dumber. He is a typical leftist class warfare clown and needs to be permanently retired from politics.

Kaine is relying on stupid blacks and stupid white liberals to put him back into office but I heard a black woman the other day talking about the real hurt that Obama and the Democrats have put on her kids, friends kids, and others looking for non-existent work. She’s not going to vote for Obie and his crew.

“No jobs - Yes he did!” And Kaine was Obama’s top butt-buddy (aka. the Asskisser from Virginia). Payback time, Little Timothy!

And in other news........

Obama set to win with 100% of every vote. Democrats set to win everything. Penn State also projected to win National Championship.

What it is is laying the groundwork for later challenging the results and more to the point, providing cover for whipping up dissent and riots.

“How can Romney have won by 1-5-10-15 points? All the polls had him losing for MONTHS?!?!?!?! The Repubs stole the election cuz they are Racists and hate BLACK PEOPLE and THIS PROVES THEY WON BY FRAUD!!!”

Bank on it.

Hey now,, Yahooie is where I get all my good stuff but I agree, they have a way with teaser titles... and now, with their recent moves branching out as a full-fledged in the tank news&analysis provider and maker, they have long left their objectivity behind.. it’ll be a cold day in Hell before they win a Pulitzer.

On the other hand - just what does it say about this nation if not only the Presidential election is “close”, but the absolutely dysfunctional and corrupt Senate (under DEMOCRAT rule) also might remain in Democrat hands while this nation is so absolutely falling apart?

Unbelievable. OK- maybe not, since Romney’s 47% statement was true...

And tell me how exactly this will make any difference. Last time we had the Republicans in charge of both houses and the President we got exactly nothing of substance out of them and in fact we got a lot of very bad things, like the drug benefit added to medicare.

More poooh from yahooooo. Dems have 23 Senate caucus seats to defend. I give them an 80% chance of them losing the senate.

Well, we’ll see. I believe Brown will ultimately prevail over Warren, and I still like Thompson’s chances in Wisconsin.

The one real heartbreaker here, if the Democrats prevail, is Missouri. McCaskill was all but guaranteed to lose before Akin made his idiotic statements. It does look like he’s building his campaign back up since his apology, but it’s anything but the lock it would have otherwise been.

I also think we’ll see some gains elsewhere. McMahon is looking pretty good in Ct., and Nebraska is looking very good for the GOP candidate. Montana is close, but the GOP is leading slightly, IIRC.

Just a reminder. in 2010, despite massive evidence to the contrary, the Mainstream MeEdia was STILL telling you that Repubs had NO CHANCE at taking control of the House.

I believe it to be true. Completely.

Consider: They KNOW Obama is gonna get stomped...hard. So the DEMS might be out of power, but the MSM isn’t. Yet. Their job is to deligitimize Romney/GOP and foster an atmosphere of distrust/dissent/and yes, violence.

Look at the Bush years and multiply it because when the Dems get kicked to the curb, it will be a LONG time before the genpub wants another taste.

Unless the MSM can pound Romney/GOP/Conservative Govt hard enough and make all those poor muslims/minorities the victims bad enough and fast enough...AGAIN.

With the MSM, Dems are never ‘really’ out of power. And starting a riot/riots will likely help them back in. Because they will count on people being sick of the day to day ‘third world’ lives they will be living and of course, Dems have the solution to all the Repub-caused violence and strife.

You are spot on Norm, I have been saying it for a while now it is a set up. Deligitimization, plain and simple. The riots will be one thing if they happen, What if the Senate goes 60 to the R’s like I think. In the backroom in DC and the Beltway they will be privately devistated.... The press will be unglued, but the ruling class will be shocked..
