Two top senators on the Foreign Relations Committee don't want to wait for the State Department to do its own investigation into the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi that killed four Americans including Ambassador Chris Stevens; they want Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to show them Stevens's diplomatic cables and other correspondence now.
"While we appreciate the sensitivities associated with this ongoing investigation, we must insist on more timely information regarding the attacks and the events leading up to the attacks," wrote Sens. Bob Corker (R-TN) and Johnny Isaakson (R-GA) in a letter to Clinton Tuesday...

Is this why State was so furious at CNN for releasing the info that Stevens felt his life was in danger and why Philippe Reines exploded with his profanity-laced rant at Buzzfeed?
They're covering for Queen Hillary. Did she deny a request for security from Stevens? She's trying the same tactics she got away with in the 90's (spin, putting smoothtalkers like Rice out there, promising investigations which won't be concluded for months, etc.) but I don't think it's going to work this time. Hillary is finished!!
They must be so pissed at CNN for stealing that diary, and not for moral reasons.

That was my take on it: that Stevens sent desperate messages to Hillary to help him. She has a bad habit of ignoring her friends when they get in her way. All the way from Craig Livingstone to Vince Foster to this poor man. Imagine if she was president who she would throw under the bus!

Why wonder where lord McCain and Lieberman are? They sure took up Hillary's cause and demanded a commission to find out what President Bush knew and when did he know it.
