Five days after the attack on the Benghazi consulate that left four Americans dead, including Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, the Obama administration sent UN Ambassador Susan Rice onto five Sunday talk shows to insist that the sacking of the consulate was the result of a protest over a YouTube video that “spun out of control.” The government of Libya was already scoffing at that story, and by the end of the next week the White House began reluctantly admitting that terrorists had attacked the diplomatic mission. Today, however, Eli Lake reports for the Daily Beast that the Obama administration knew within 24 hours that the attack had not been a spontaneous event, but a well-planned terrorist attack:
Within 24 hours of the 9-11 anniversary attack on the United States consulate in Benghazi, U.S. intelligence agencies had strong indications al Qaeda–affiliated operatives were behind the attack, and had even pinpointed the location of one of those attackers. Three separate U.S. intelligence officials who spoke to The Daily Beast said the early information was enough to show that the attack was planned and the work of al Qaeda affiliates operating in Eastern Libya. …
The intelligence officials who spoke to The Daily Beast did so anonymously because they weren’t authorized to speak to the press.
She’s been doing the job of “damage control” as we speak by meeting with the leaders to smooth things over I’m sure.... all the while Obama goes back on his 2012 tour meeting the likes of JayZ and Beyonce, Pimp With the Limp and special guest, David Letterman.
It’s unfathomable to me how Paul Ryan isn’t all over this. He should be leading the attack and keeping zer0 on defense, this is scandalous. And all the pubes are doing is making jokes about NFL refs? The pubes deserve to lose.

This terrorist attack was either:
A) Something really nefarious worked up by Obama and his team. This option requires an extra dose of tinfoil.
or
B) Obama was caught sleeping while on guard duty. That could be a death knell regarding his chances of re-election. Americans are suffering through the worst recession since the Great Depression, while Obama golfs and the terrorists plan. Imagine an ad like that?
As for me, I believe it’s the latter. Obama has never taken the threat of Islamic terrorism seriously, and this is the result of his naivete. Dead Americans and the middle east in flames.

He’s in the hospital again. They’ll probably delay the trial until he dies of “complications.” Then they won’t have the bad publicity of a trial.

Option B -the video is used to avoid accountability. Both options show failure, and danger to US.
The real scandal is that almost no one knew about that silly video trailer on YouTube prior to Obama’s lame attempt to use it as a scapegoat. By putting this story that the video was the reason for a muslim riot, he actually encouraged riots in other countries. This is classic Obama: putting his self-interest above literally everything else, even when that means people will get hurt and die.

They can yawn all they...Romney should state this in his opening statements at the first debate, cataloging the ‘lies” of the regime and why whatever Obamugabe says cannot be trusted.
Libs now saying it was perfectly reasonable for obama to assume the youtube video was responsible for the attack until all the facts were in. The facts were in within 24 hours and obama was still blaming the youtube video for it. And libs, of course, see nothing wrong with that.
Well, with this new info out, I guess tonight Tingles will be drooling over how eye candyish obama looked on The View, and Madcow Maddow will be talking about Romney’s tax returns.

The media has turned into the DNC. The Republican leadership does NOT exist. Boo Hoo Boehner and No Guts McConnell are silent as always. The gutsy ones like Michelle Bachman get ridiculed by the prestitutes. She needs money, by the way - please donate so SOME in the GOP stand up to these liars on the left. Great idea.... but we all know Newtster would be the only one to do that! Hope Romney is ready for what I fear to be this. The moderators will have either given Obama the questions ahead of time or better yet, let him WRITE them. Think I’m nuts? Want to bet on that?

I saw pictures of her on Greta Van Susteran last night. Meeting with the world leaders Obama was too bored to engage with. Oddly, what struck me, is she looked as bad as she has ever looked. It’s as if, overnight, she gained 30 pounds and aged 10 years. I know she’s looked terrible for years but this really was telling. She must have hit the ice cream truck or maxibar when she found out our ambassador was butchered under her watch.
