Polls Show Obama Is Widening His Lead in Ohio and Florida (NYT predicts record Democrat turnout!)
NY Times ^ | 9/26/12 | JIM RUTENBERG and JEFF ZELENY

Posted on 09/26/2012 7:04:39 AM PDT by jimbo123

For weeks, Republicans in Ohio have been watching with worry that the state’s vital 18 electoral votes were trending away from Mitt Romney. The anxiety has been similar in Florida, where Republicans are concerned that President Obama is gaining the upper hand in the fight for the state’s 29 electoral votes.

Those fears are affirmed in the findings of the latest Quinnipiac University/New York Times/CBS News polls of likely voters in both states, which show that Mr. Obama has widened his lead over Mr. Romney and is outperforming him on nearly every major campaign issue, even though about half said they were disappointed in Mr. Obama’s presidency.

I wish all conservatives would move out of those states, NY, MA, CA, VT, ME, RI, CT,PA,, MI and move ot swing states like FL, NC, VA, CO, NM,AZ,.

Imagine millions of people who are conservative moving to those states thus the swing states become solid republican, gain more electoral votes, get more tax money, have the liberal states lose money, lose electoral numbers, etc.

I know of 5 other families now which moved out of MA, CA and moved to FL because they were fed up of the liberal high tax, homo agenda

A record Democrat turnout?

Could it be....the lowest in modern times?

In a related thought.

Any doubts that the MSM has already written the debate results?

Obama will be hailed as presidential and Romney will be “out of touch”

Rats go into assisted living facilities and “help” the patients “fill out” their ballots. Another favorite of RATs is to vote everywhere they have a residence as in 2nd and 3rd homes. Of course, they’re out digging up the dead as well. And delaying ballots being sent to the troops is an all-time favorite.

Any other RAT voter fraud scenarios you would like to share?

On a somewhat related topic, I’ve been thinking about the projections that the MSM will make on election night. I wonder if they could project phony Obama leads and/or victories early in the evening to discourage west coast Romney voters into not bothering to vote. Or maybe I’m just paranoid.

“GOPers and conservatives, even in conquered states like CA, NY, PA, MI and the Northeast, still need to make their presence known. Even if we have to go down in defeat, let’s at least make it not because of lack of effort. Make a statement that Obama doesn’t own all of us.”

Sounds as if you see what’s coming — as do I.

This doesn’t mean it’s time to give up the fight. I’ll vote “against Obama” in November, as I know that you will, too. Ain’t no way I’m not goin’ to the polls to have my say this November!

But if he wins again, conservatives must face hard truths about their personal futures and the future of the country as well.

If the Republican party can’t beat a socialist/marxist like Obama, if they can’t defeat someone as extreme as him with a candidate as “smooth” as Mitt Romney, how the heck are they going to win again?

America is “changin’ away on us”, and it’s not for the better. That as destructive and shady an individual as Obama could win the presidency, and then go on to win it AGAIN says more about what a growing plurality of our population wants, as much as it says about Obama himself.

A growing cohort of the population no longer believes in nor wants the traditional Scots-Irish ideal of self-sufficiency and freedom — the republic created for us by The Founders. Rather, they’re quite comfortable to let government be “their new Massa”, and take what it hands out to them, “free of charge”. Except, the handouts come with a hidden price...

Couple this with the inevitable demographic changes that are coming (amnesty for the illegals will certainly be part of Obama’s second term), and within twenty years, conservatives will no longer be able to “raise a national voice” loudly enough to remain an influential force in the government any longer.

What’s the alternative?
How about something like the Amish and Mennonites do? That is to say, conservatives will have to take up their beds and re-congregate into geographical areas (such as certain states) where they will remain the dominant group (both philosophically and ethnically). They’ll have to migrate to such locations which the left will ignore the longest in their quest for power. Conservatives will have to create communities (actually those communities already exist) which will have a decent chance of surviving the inevitable “crashes to come”, as the cities and surrounding areas collapse.

Think of Ray Bradbury’s “Fahrenheit 451” for a moment. In the novel, the renegade “fireman”, hunted by the authorities in the city, flees to a far-off area where the government doesn’t go and where freedom is still cherished and (like the books in the novel) “remembered”.

How ironic that within fifty years, the country changed so much that “the old ways” are now regarded as dangerous, and those that hold them dear have become “the new renegades”....

“Or maybe I’m just paranoid.”

You’re NOT paranoid. Never forget the election when Gore was declared the winner in Florida at 7:00 eastern time by the commie news shows. That, in turn, discouraged the Repubs in the Florida panhandle (who are in a later time zone) from voting.

We all see where the Democrats want to take this country. It is disgusting and they are disgusting. To think of all the servicemen and women who fought and died for this country and for what? To see it go down the toilet.

They are, in effect, predicting that Republicans will not turn out this season.

I don’t believe that to be the case. I believe, and hope it is true, that Republicans will come out in droves.

These fools will wallow in their own delusional antics until the end… This election reminds me very much of the 1980 election. Carter was like Obama is now, through no fault of his own according to the liberal mainstream press overseer of the worst economy since the depression and his numbers were abysmally low. After the Iranian hostage crises his numbers went up like a rocket, but after months of indecision and vacillation over that crises. his numbers dropped to the point where he was actually tied with Regan. On the morning of the election it was too close to call, but most of the liberal media including the NY Slimes and Time magazine were calling it a likely Carter win.

On election night, it was over after the first hour or so and in the end Reagan had 90.9 % of the electoral votes and 50.1% percent of the popular vote to Carter’s 41%. It was seminal and this election will be as well. Romney will pick up states and electoral votes that nobody would even think he had a chance of winning on election day. All because the liberal media will do their best to ignore and then not report the truth. In 1980 Carter didn’t stand a chance, but only Regan’s supporters and advisors knew the truth because the lame stream media refused to report it.

I was one who studied election numbers for our Republican Party and voter turnout in non-presidential years favors Republicans. Minorities vote in less numbers in those years and Republicans don't lose many voters in off years.

One cannot go by off-year election numbers to predict presidential election turnout.

“We’re supposed to believe that most people in OHIO are going to send that A-HOLE President back for MORE OF THE SAME...”

When Hussein “saved” car companies, that kept jobs going in Ohio and interviews with Ohio voters say that is why they are voting Hussein - he helped them. Romney wanted car companies to go bankrupt so Ohio voters are afraid to vote for him.

I didn’t make this up - I heard a report based on talking to Ohio voters. If Romney doesn’t win Ohio, this would probably be the reason.
