Thanks, but just a little advice about idiots. I don't even read their posts anymore, much less respond to them. I learned never to argue with idiots either. They will eventually drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Then you need to learn the facts, Mitt was indeed a Stake President, in charge of the Bishops of his Stake, which is like the Catholic diocese.

Stake Presidents have duties which includes excommunication.

Wiki—”A stake disciplinary council is convened by the stake president in instances where it appears that a holder of the Melchizedek priesthood has committed an offence which may result in excommunication or when the subject is a member of a bishop’s immediate family. In such instances, the council is composed of the stake president, his two counselors, and the twelve members of the stake high council. After hearing the evidence in the case and the submissions of the high councilors—one half of whom speak on behalf of the accused—the stake president and his counselors are encouraged to make a joint unanimous decision on the outcome. **However, the stake president has the final say and can theoretically make a decision over the protest of either or both of his counselors**.”

It is also a fact that Mitt sought and received the meeting with his Holy Prophet to gain his permission to run, this was reported in Mormon sources (Sunstone Magazine, November 2005).

It is also a fact that Mitt Romney’s religion teaches him that he will become a God himself, if he conducts himself properly in regards to Mormon law, in Mormonism there are an unlimited number of Gods.

HERE IS THE CATHOLIC TEACHING ON MORMONISM:

“Mormons are not Christians. The Mormons will claim to be Christian because they claim to follow Christ, and believe in the Bible. They say that Jesus is a god, but not THE God. They also believe that Lucifer is the brother of Jesus, and neither do they believe that there is fire in Hell.”

“Mormons say that Christ came to teach the truth, but that it was lost when the Apostles dispersed. No one had the truth for over 1800 years until God saw fit to enlighten Joseph Smith in 1823 (that is why they baptize all the dead people who missed out). Besides their strange historical mis-accounts, Mormons also have a warped theology.”

“By following all the rules and ordinances of God here, Mormon men and women have the potential of also becoming gods”

“Mormons believe that there are many worlds and many gods. Each god is similar to God the Father, having the same powers and omnipotence, and even being able to create their own worlds. “Heavenly Father” is only the name of the god who rules over this world.”

Trust the Catholic truth on Mormonism, or trust what the Mormons are telling you.

...the more some of these tv evangelists use the name "Jesus" in a sentence, the more I figure they are shallow shysters...

I attended a service once where the pastor used the word "Father" more than sixty times in the prayer service. I dang near got up and walked out. I guess the guy didn't have much faith.

There ought to be a feeling of security when addressing the Father of us all.
