Can't find anything more on this for the moment.

I suspect they're being pulled in advance of a cruise missile strike on militia targets in Libya.

It's also why Hussein cancelled his debate prep, which was reported earlier.

How about those 15,000 SA-24 Grinch MANPADS anti-aircraft missles they have floating around Libya?

Especially now that the names of the natives who’d been helping us to recover some of them are known to the enemy....

Great post. Obama doesn’t want another GhaziGate. He’s
4 for 4 which alone equals to 4 years too long. No one that has had 4 terrorist attacks against the United States on their watch should or would get reelected!!

Here's a little more, from the JPost:

“The United States is temporarily withdrawing more staff from its embassy in Libya's capital for security reasons, but hopes to return them to Tripoli early next week, the US State Department said on Thursday.

“This is a temporary further drawdown of staff for security reasons. We will review our posture again early next week with the goal of restoring staff as soon as conditions allow,” a State Department official said in New York, where Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is attending the UN General Assembly.

The senior official declined to say how many staff were being withdrawn or discuss specifics.”

It's also why Hussein cancelled his debate prep,

If he bombs Libya, he's likely hoping his CIC moment will overshadow the debate next week...thus, no need to prep.

Either that, or he's looking for any excuse to get away from Kerry.

Great. On the one hand, it might well be that the Libyan “government,” whatever that is, was involved in the murder of a US ambassador. That would be an act of war. On the other hand, the US has absolutely nothing to gain from going to war with Libya. So hit them with a missile or two, and hope there will be no further consequences. Like jumping off a cliff and hoping there’s a big pile of hay at the bottom, but then again, supporting the Islamist revolution in Libya was no different. Note to the President/State/international yoyos: Stop jumping off cliffs. Hay is not always at the bottom, in fact it almost never is.

Didn't Clinton bomb an aspirin factory to 'change the subject'? Obama's not ready for this debabe - even with liberal moderators who would pay to kiss his behind...

The first story - about the film - was a lie. This one's probably a lie too. (they're pulling out - but I doubt there's a threat beyond the normal)

Now here’s a mischievous question for the class: which candidate would Al Qaida like to see win our election?

Naah, that's a stupid hypothesis. Here's one that is more in keeping with Islamist (and Marxist) thinking:

This is gettin' while the gettin's easy.

Obama is making it easy for al Quaeda to do as much damage as possible to America while he still has the opportunity and will let them sell as much useful intelligence to our other Marxist enemies as they want to pay for. He will facilitate AQ consolidating the Middle East to prepare for a caliphate by doing everything he can to make America appear incompetent and feckless.

My take is that the reason for AQ's focus on Yemen is its proximity to Mecca. They will strike from there.

The story for nightly news Tonight would be: “Hillary Clinton admits planned attack by Al Qeada in Libya”.

NOW the story will be: “BREAKING: Film maker responsible for Libyan Ambassador death is arrested.”

=> it’s just that simple.

Have people here not been following the story, it’s about delayed release of facts, deversion, 15 days and running now.

I can hope can’t I?
