Its expensive soup. I can’t remember the last time I went for a Campbell’s label.
When my kids were young and my wife worked Saturdays (to preserve her sanity) I fed them Grilled Cheese and Campbells soup. Every Saturday for like eight years. I bet they hate that soup.
Shutting down a plant in California?
That’s called smart business...
(It says, "No soup fol yu!")
WOW ! 700 illegal’s out of work
You know the economic depression is really bad when even the soup companies can’t move their product. In the last depression, people were lining up for the stuff!
Declining consumption? My gawd, how did people live before cream of chicken and cream of mushroom? You can produce at least three dozen meals based on those two soups alone!
NO kidding my mom pot roast that her main ingrediant back in da day
BEside Campbell just revamp their website you could find more recipes
If Campbell's is laying off how bad is the economy rally getting to be?
I am sure this has nothing to do with the cost of the soup skyrocketing and the size of the can shrinking faster than our freedoms.....
So long, Jerry. You can kiss our arses as we cross the state line. Hope you starve, you silly communist.
It seem like they don’t advertise anymore.

FUBO!
Campbells AND Pepsi lost ME when the word came out that they’d been paying some macabre outfit for flavor experiments using aborted fetal kidney tissue. Skreeuuw Campbells AND Pepsi. Progresso “Lite” and “Low Sodium” soups are perfectly fine, and Coke ZERO is the only cola beverage I need. I don’t wish either Campbells or Pepsi any bad luck, but if they HAVE some, I wouldn’t mind HEARING about it!/Sarc
Campbell soup is AWFUL now. They have reduced the sodium and it tastes like they substituted the fake salt. Their cream of tomato soup (made with milk) was soooo good with grilled cheese but it is completely disgusting now. Any suggestions?
I am now looking for a good substitute.
Prices on all Cambells Soups are up significantly - some are twice what they were just a few years ago.
That has a lot to do with declining sales.
