MSNBC caught using edited clip from rally to attack Mitt Romney
Examiner ^ | September 28, 2012 | Joe Newby

In an effort to downplay Romney's support at a rally in Dayton, Ohio, MSNBC used an edited video to make it appear as though the crowd was screaming "Ryan, Ryan," Joel B. Pollack reported at Breitbart.com on Friday. But a closer look at the actual unedited footage from CSPAN tells a much different story.

MSNBC first aired the video on Wednesday, "prompting an embarrassed Joe Scarborough to mutter 'Oh, sweet Jesus' and a purse-lipped Mika Brzezinski to ask 'What’s wrong with those people,'” The Blaze reported on Thursday.

Beckett Adams wrote that MSNBC's Martin Bashir also used the clip, claiming that Ryan "overshadows" Romney.

According to Adams, if one listens closely to the video, "it’s obvious the audio in the clip has been adjusted," which Adams says is not unusual.

"However, where the controversy comes in is in the caption on the screen quoting the audience as chanting 'Ryan!' Why is that controversial? Because people who attended the event say that’s not what happened, and that the MSNBC video grossly misrepresents what actually occurred," he added.

On Thursday, a caller to Glenn Beck's program confirmed that the version put out by MSNBC was incorrect.

“The crowd was yelling,” a caller identified as Sherry recounted. “The crowd was screaming ‘Romney! Romney!’

...caller to Rush Limbaugh's program said the same thing, and The Blaze reported that several others have confirmed the story.

At some point, does not an infomercial jump from being “the press” (and the freedom thereof) to being an in-kind contribution? Somewhere there is a line that has been crossed.

Let's see if I have this straight. An NBC division aired a fake story?

Impossible!

At the Dem Convention they chanted “Obama! Obama!”
At the GOP Convention they chanted “USA! USA!”

Nuff said.

As the Food Stamp President sinks, the MSM pimps shout louder and longer and try every dirty trick they can. Progressives can never admit that they were wrong about anything, even the smallest inconsequential thing .... it’s their nature.

Heard about this from a caller (who was there) on Rush today.

Wonder if that phony, LIBERAL, pretend, Republitard, Morning Joe will apologize for the face palm and fess up by admitting their "error?"

Let's see: Are there any flying pigs around?

Then I suggest he will not. The Lame Stream Enamedia is getting more despicable and downright disgusting by the day.

This clip has been making the rounds. I saw it somewhere else.

What the MSM is doing is despicable beyond words. I wish there were some kind of legal consequences for this.

In the real world if your competitor was caught doctoring clips to mislead the public you would use this to attack their credibility and honesty hoping you would gain more viewers. Unfortunately the media is not a competitive enterprize but a multi-headed monster with one goal. Destroy republicans and protect Obama. Tag line says it all.

Romney’s FCC should yank the license from MSLSD and send a clear message that the media will no longer be allowed to be a propaganda arm of either side. Actions must have consequences.

There is another story here, much bigger, and far beyond mere MSNBC.

The Marxist/Dem/liberal media has clearly proven that they have no compunction for deception in order to prop up Mister Obama.

And, one suspects that Mister Obama is clandestinely pulling many or most of the "news" media strings (assigning blames, spiking true stories, and more.)

Thus, (again, one suspects) that the all debate questions have been thoroughly compromised, and Mister Obama is already rehearsing answers to questions that he secretly posed to himself.
