41 MILLION TEA PARTY SUPPORTERS SET TO VOTE
Breitbart Big Government ^ | 9-28-12 | DUSTIN HAWKINS

Posted on 09/29/2012 2:48:12 PM PDT by kingattax

The Tea Party is regularly ridiculed and declared "dead" by the mainstream press and their elitist allies in Washington and Hollywood. Not surprisingly, when Tea Partiers show up and rally by the thousands, they get all but ignored, while 30 Occupy Wall Street crazies in masks will always get wall-to-wall coverage and admiration.

TV shows and movies take cheap shots at Tea Party conservatives, often linking them to murder-of-the-week cases on insipid crime procedurals or dismissing them as “birthers.” But a new Associated Press poll shows tea party supporters may have the last laugh in November.

The AP/GFK poll shows that 31% of likely voters consider themselves Tea Party supporters. With 131 million votes cast in the 2008 elections, that translates into an incredible voting bloc of 41 million Tea Party supporters waiting to cast ballots. These voters have already made their voices heard in Wisconsin earlier this year, as well as in Republican primaries in Texas and Nebraska.

That 31% of likely voters figure is greater than the 19% who described themselves as either strongly or somewhat liberal.

Surprisingly, liberals have escaped media characterization as being a small, fringe-like group with little power or influence. At 19% of likely voters, self-described liberals would have a turnout of 25 million voters, some 16 million fewer voters than the Tea Party.

I keep asking myself, I say self, where is the Tea Party?

I did my part in the Senate race here in Texas. But no rallies here or anywhere else that I have heard about.

And by the way, who is John Galt? :-)

"But no rallies here or anywhere else that I have heard about."

The Tea Party doesn't need rallies. We watch, listen and vote.

Hopefully, the MSM won't know what hit them on Nov. 6th.

And by the way, who is John Galt?

He was an electrical engineer who worked for GE in the Berkshires in the early '50's - who applied for every credid card as it came out and had an unlimited credit, even thouhg no other information was listed - and he never used one of them

Now, scenario? if thousands of people are holding such cards, what would happen if they all maxed them all out all at the same time and melted back into Galt's Gulch?

I don’t think so. The ones that are truly lazy sponges of society will not show up at polls, either. That’s what I’m counting on. Their lack of motivation is so ingrained, they won’t even make the effort. At least, that’s what I hope.

What do rallies really do? NOTHING.Tea partiers got busy, recruiting and assisting conservatives to run in local elections. That is how you change the Country, not by rallies.

The bad part about living in Texas is August and lack of attention in national elections. The last two Republican nominees for president was already decided before the polls opened in Texas. John McCain and Mit Romney would have taken a whipping in Texas.

We, the Tea Partiers, did our thing getting Ted Cruz on the November ballot. My wife and I attended two Tea Party events prior to the primaries. Both were well attended as Bell County events go...

The Tea Party is probably a majority of ‘senior’ citizens that remember the USA as it should be. We will vote!!!!Our fathers, brothers and uncles paid the price for us to do that...

(We are both depression babies, a rather rare group...)

BTW, I have not answered a phone call that I thought might be a pollster...
