President Obama has made it very clear that he does not want to go through with... future spending reduction at all. As UPI notes, the White House budget office recently released a report which "repeated the administration's insistence that President Barack Obama 'stands ready to work with Congress' to find ways to avoid sequestration."
**** The plan plays games with the budget baseline, counts $800 billion in debt payments as a "spending cut," and cleverly spreads is deficit reduction out over 12 years rather than the industry-standard 10 year window in order to meet the $4 trillion threshhold but make the early cuts — the ones he'd actually have to oversee as president — quite a bit smaller.

Why doesn’t Romney call this bastard what he is - a bald faced liar?
Let’s face it: if Romney called Obama a liar the “fact checkers” at the NYT, WP, CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, etc., would have conniption fits and there would be weeks of stories about “desperate Romney campaign” trying to smear our wonderful dear leader. Look at what happened when Romney told the truth about Libya.
You never stop telling the truth.
If anything, I hope Romney is working himself up to do that at the debates, this way if Obama does decide to run away, a good portion of the country is watching, and they see Obama for how weak he really is.
All of this information will cause liberals’ eyes to gloss over. It won’t get obama defeated. As long as they get their “freebies” today they won’t worry about tomorrow.
