I didn’t like the call, but was spared from outrage by being a Minnesotan. So I have plenty leftovers for Obamacare.

"No he doesn’t, you putz."

Ha Ha. It's a lot better strategy to stop making excuses for lame Republicans and to stop putting a sunny face on everything... and to start pummeling your opponents. You'll thank me in the end.

We can survive a stupid leader we cannot survive a stupid electorate....

That's a solid gold money quote!

Dear Juan,

We are currently focused on defeating your president. The candidate who will win is going to repeal Obama care. We will debate and argue with him about what to replace it with, but OCare is history.

Your using Bill Frist as an example of conservative thought is, uhmm, errr, ahhh, LAUGHABLE.

Sincerely,
Screaming Eagle Mom

There is still plenty of outrage.
But you can’t live every day of your life lashing out like an angry bull.

After Chief Justice Roberts’ abandonment of constitutional law to give Obama a win, the legal avenues available to change or eliminate ObamaKare have essentially been reduced to only one: win this election.

Romney has made it clear that he will shut down the implementation and work to overturn the law.

If he isn’t elected we will be stuck with ObamaKare until SHTF gets here.

“Voters do not walk the talk - a bunch of wusses! Patriots they are NOT!”

People too lazy to vote could never be relied on to pick up a weapon to defend freedom if it really hit the fan.

This republic in its present form is pretty much done for.

Flame away with your rah-rah platitudes about how great America is (WAS).

Just what I was thinking, my outrage isn’t gone, but like most people (IMHO) we can’t do a thing until the election, and if we don’t take the Senate it won’t matter too much (for Obamacare anyway). But Obama has to go and I believe it will happen.

Funny you pick Newt, one of the early advocates of the mandate. It was one of those nutso pieces of backwards logic for conservatives convinced of the creeping socialism’s inevitability, just like Cap N Trade. “If they’re gonna have universal healthcare coverage let’s force everyone to pay! Yeah. Then there’ll be a little sliver of personal responsibility, even if it’s forced.”

Death Panels, rationing, and the taxes will enrage We The People. The rage is brewing and it will be raging real when the IRS digs into their accounts.

16,500 new IRS agents are waiting to start enforcing the Obamanation about to take effect.

“In fact, more Republicans are getting on board....
Meanwhile, insurance companies and hospitals are making the argument to state governments that repeal of the ACA is highly unlikely unless an incredible landslide occurs in November...”

And they have their Hillary man....RomneyHillary backing himshe all the way.

Fascism mandate MassachusettsRomney.

Bailing them out and their divisions in Life Insurance also.

Roberts was right about one thing; it is not up to the court to protect the public from the results of their foolish choices in elections.

Yes, and meant to be flushed and not to be considered something to be 'thought of'.

"Romney has made it clear that he will shut down the implementation and work to overturn the law."

Yep. Just to clarify- my point here is not to pile on Romney- he's the horse we have going into November. My point is that we need big numbers in the Senate to repeal, and thus far, I haven't really seen candidates addressing this substantially. Candidates need to stop listening to dopey GOp-e consultants, and to start listening to We The People again.

Can’t help but compare the fervor leading up to 2010 compared to now. The town-hall protests, the Tea Party, the Obamacare pushback, etc. A thousand people waiting out in freezing temps at a bookstore for a Palin book-signing. In my travels, I had total strangers confront me at restaurants and gift shops strike conversations and point at newspapers, expressing abject contempt with Obama.

There was a conservative-populist grassfire set alight back then. A ton of energy to be harnessed. But the GOP-E seemed to do everything it could to pour cold water on it, from the horrid lame-duck session to FoxNews veering left to all the brilliant GOP punditry pushing “moderation” and running away from the Tea party. Now six weeks to go to the election, and I see no fervor, and very little enthusiasm. From the astonishingly abysmal economy to the crony-esque sleaze and corruption to the foreign policy fiascos, the GOP has had a TON of ammo to go up against Obama with. But no one has really lit that grassfire anew.

It is hard to feign outrage when we have a nominee (or his spokesperson) who brags on his own version of it every other week.

No, but you CAN speak the truth about them every day. Ignore the fact that truth to them is hate speech. The only thing libs hate more than that is when you tell them you're praying for them!

On the on hand, that's natural, though. The Tea Party is focusing more on getting solid candidates elected, and a little less on rallies- and that's fine. The election is what counts in the end. I just think our candidates need to do more to turn the heat up.
