For the week just ended, the Obama campaign outspent Romney by a significant margin in key swing states. In Iowa, Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin, the Obama campaign spent $16.6 during the week of September 24th while Romney spent only $12.5 million.

Hopefully it is going into GOTV efforts to prevent people from being discouraged by all the spin.
On WHAT TV channels? I hear freepers complaining about ads during sports games...I don’t think that helps Obomba...and TV is becoming less of a source....people can skip thru ads
This is apparent and concerns me. I hope that his money is going into ground game or something that is helpful, not just so fool consultants.
The Super Pac ads just started running on Sunday. During the Redskins-Bucs game the anti-Obozo adds were run at a 4-1 advantage here in NOVA.
WASSUP WID DIS?
I did notice that too on Sunday though.
I thought the Romney folks were sitting on a large bankroll and commercials were coming.
Strange.
That makes me feel better.
I’ve spoken to our state committeeman, our rep to the RNC. He does not totally discount advertising - there will be advertising dollars - but much of the stash will go into the ground game as previously noted. To date we have made more contacts nationally than were made through election day in 2008. GOTV in 2004 was an awesome effort that gave GWB the victory over Jean Francois Kerry (who served in Vietnam).
I was thinking that Romney/Ryan would launch a swell of ads in the week before the election... good idea.
By then the public will be heartily sick of hearing and seeing our idiot President trying to persuade people to give him another four more miserable years!!!
There is alot of time and money going into the GOTV efforts here in VA. Very well organized and also well attended by volunteers.
Obama outspending Romney in NWFlorida, at least on radio. Romney is barely there, which is better then last week when there were no Romney spots at all. Now the SIEU ads are 4 or more to 1 the Romney ads. The robocalls are a little better, maybe 3 to 1.
Im still seeing Obama here in the bluest of blue California(Yep, the state giving illegal aliens drivers licenses now..how exciting :( if Obama is doing so well how come he’s wasting money here
Obama Ads I mean
Another question, if Obama has so little money how can he afford to be spending ad dollars everywhere we look (including CA)?
I’ve not even seen a single Romney ad other than one on the internet that I clicked on. Undoubtedly due to the fact I’m not in a swing state, and I don’t particularly watch many tv-channels anymore (having grown sick of their liberal agendas, I’ve dumped most of them). I have seen a handful of Obama ads, plus several dozen commercials for local races, however.
Makes for an almost surreal election season, compared to previous ones. At times, it doesn’t even seem like there’s an election going on. Few yard-signs, few bumper-stickers, and so few commercials.
All I know is I see Obama ads EVERYWHERE....and I'm in Texas...so I know they are national buys. I see them during sporting events...and I don't DVR those...so people see them. I see them on Youtube on the side-bar. I see them on Yahoo. I see them everywhere.
The RNC/GOP made the mistake of not understanding the power of the new media in 2008...and I fear they are doing it again.

Maybe they said "throw-rugging?"
