Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama said Tuesday that the Bush administration has done nothing to defuse a "quiet riot" among blacks that threatens to erupt just as riots in Los Angeles did 15 years ago.
[Obama] said that with black people from New Orleans and the Gulf Coast still displaced 20 months after Hurricane Katrina, frustration and resentments are building.
"This administration was colorblind in its incompetence," Obama said at a conference of black clergy, "but the poverty and the hopelessness was there long before the hurricane.
"All the hurricane did was to pull the curtain back for all the world to see," he said.
Obama's attack on Bush got ovation after ovation from the nearly 8,000 people...
Repeatedly, he referred to the riots that erupted in Los Angeles after a jury acquitted four police officers of assault charges in the 1991 beating of Rodney King, a black motorist, after a high-speed chase. Fifty-five people died and 2,000 were injured in several days of riots in the city's black neighborhoods.
"Those 'quiet riots' that take place every day are born from the same place as the fires and the destruction and the police decked out in riot gear and the deaths," Obama said. "They happen when a sense of disconnect settles in and hope dissipates. Despair takes hold and young people all across this country look at the way the world is and believe that things are never going to get any better."
Repeatedly, with evangelical zeal, he raised issues that roused the crowd...
The Rev. Robert Abbott, pastor of the Holy Trinity Baptist Church in New York state, said Obama connects with black audiences because of the preacher's style he uses when addressing them.
"The way he sounds, it's like he can reach out and encourage people," Abbott said.

What the hell else could that mean? The 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus radicals (psycho spoiled brats), et al stirred up many a riot in the 1960s. And they have had control of the Democratic Party since the 1970s. Gore prevented the massacres in 2000 -- I do not see the Obamas and their ilk stopping riots.. they will initiate the riots coast to coast.
Yep, they have many illegal guns in Chicago..

As the speech kicked off (at 1:07 into the video), Obama introduced the Rev. Wright to the audience with these glowing and highly personal words:

You know, I’ve been on a journey trying to get at the truth that question for a long time. I mention Rev. Wright... I first met Rev. Wright when I moved to Chicago after college.
And that’s where I met Rev. Wright and started going to Trinity United Church of Christ and he helped me on another journey and introduced me to someone named Jesus Christ. And I learned that my sins could be redeemed. I learned that those things that I was too weak to accomplish myself, maybe he could accomplish them for me if I placed my trust in him. And I learned that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary things when they believe in him and they come together and are guided by him.
There he goes again, bringing us all together.
Boy! New Orleans is OWNED lock, stock and barrel by the Democrat Rot Party and its corruption. If the curtain was pulled back, it exposed Ray Nagin and his ilk. Ignorance, plain and simple. Obama’s a jive turkey.
Last month, I posted an e-mail sent out to known Regime supporters by the anarchist group Anonymous. FYI, the Regime, Anonymous, Soros and the Occupy Movement are working together to de-stabilize our country. Anonymous calls for mob action to storm the US Capitol Building on November 5th 2012. At the same time, they plan to occupy the Parliament Building in London.
