CNN Keeps Hitting Libya Fiasco While Networks Drop Story
NewsBusters ^

CNN reported a new bombshell in the ongoing Libya fiasco on Monday night, while the networks had already moved on from the story. CNN's Erin Burnett disclosed that "key intelligence" was left out of the post-Libya narrative given to the American public. The networks made no mention of Libya all day Monday and through Tuesday morning after being late to new developments in the story.

Glad CNN is covering it, but they and Foxnews have tiny audiences compared to ABC, CBS, and NBC. If the big 3 keep ignoring it, very few people will know whats happening.

Yes, that keeps the vast majority of Americans ignorant. The MSM are part of the communists empire that has taken much of America over. King Obama is a communists black Muslim and has loaded his Administration with communists.

CNN sees the Libya fiasco story as a possible lifeline to a bit of relevance. They’ve lost a ton of audience playing leftist liars so they might as well give truth a shot and see if it improves their numbers.

I have to say, to his credit, Anderson Cooper seemed really P.O.’d early on that the Administration had been lying to the People about the supposed “mob attack” nonsense.

I read on twitter that Anderson Cooper is also covering the Daily Caller tape released tonight, interesting to know how he reacted to it

If this is their strategy, it's brilliant if not sophomoric. Woulda thunk it? Report hard hitting news to inform the people of important political policy and people will tune in? It actually seems like they are doing some investigative journalism. WTF?

It’s almost as if CNN is (finally) getting serious about honest, hard news over the past couple of months.
We’ll see how long this lasts.

CNN hit a gold mine with Stevens journal and they have ‘skin in the game’ as the saying goes. Not a CNN fan, but kudos to them on this story.

I dream of CNN seeing great rewards in this story and having an epiphany. “Investigative, hard reporting and aggressive news helps viewership!” Viola!

Interesting....

CNN covering the Libya cover-up

Univision covering Fast & Furious....and CBS was the first TV broadcaster to bring up F/F

I thought FoxNews was the Conservative network?

Think they are a little pissed as to the way the Obama administration turned on them about that?

If the big 3 keep ignoring it, very few people will know whats happening.

The right people will sit up and take notice.

And that be us.

There is the posibility that Anderson Cooper finally got to see the real Obama and did not like what he saw. I would suspect by November 6 he will be back in line and on the DIMOKKKRAT plantation.

CNN’s Erin Burnett led off the 10 central time hour with the story with an interview with Rep. Darrell Issa about U.S. officials in Libya requesting more security.

Cornered rats tend to turn nasty .... but they had to expect some blowback. They let Clinton & other officials get out there and state there was no intelligence/info that security was a concern & “blamo” ... CNN hits them with Stevens’ journal entries to the contrary. It was a real coup & I think they’ll take the heat & be glad for the ratings that go with it.
