The Democratic National Committee armed with the help of dismissive tweets from a variety of journalists scrambled Tuesday night to attack The Daily Caller for its videos of President Obamas controversial race comments in 2007 before the story was even published.
Using comments from reporters speculating on TheDCs report, the Democrats quickly worked to dismiss the story it hadnt seen yet which was teased Tuesday afternoon on Sean Hannitys radio show and on the Drudge Report by calling it lame.
At about 7:30 p.m. ET, the DNC Rapid Response team sent an email to reporters titled That was Lame, listing instant reaction to the latest lame Drudge/Hannity desperation tactics.
The email merely included tweets from journalists before the story was published expressing skepticism and disinterest and the mistaken claim that the video had been published before.
The tweets used by the Democratic National Committee came from reporters at organizations including Politico, BuzzFeed, The Huffington Post, The New York Times, New York Magazine and the Atlantic.
The mere prospect that videos of Obama talking about race and his former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, would be published had the committee quickly working to kill the story.
In an attempt to link the story to Republican nominee Mitt Romney, the DNC also sent out an old story about Romney saying he would not make Wright a campaign issue.

Romney needs to ( Freudian) slip tonight and address Zero as “President Sharpton”.
Some are trolls and others are just defeated little worms that breathlessly wait for the next opportunity to puke their defeatist, loser vomit all over the place. At least they can shut the hell up and go cower in some hole and puke their defeatist, loser vomit on only themselves. Enough is enough.
A quick quiz for the dim witted. The DNC scrambles to deflate this Obama video because:
A) It helps their side.
or
B) It hurts their side.
Of course it hurts Obama. The only really debate is how much. When 1 or 2 points in a swing state might decide the election, we should NEVER belittle anything that can give our side those precious points. NEVER!
A lot of arrested adolescents were out in full force last night. Our side can be pretty pathetic at times.
Rachel Maddow could see a video of Obama buggering a goat and he/she/it would only note what an animal lover Obama is. Her reaction is meaningless.
The first hint he was a racist was the protection his dept. of justice afforded the black panthers.
Of course it's important. After spending weeks and tons of airtime lambasting Romney for stating that his strongest appeal will be to 53% of the electorate, they're now faced with a video that shows Barack Obama adopting a lame "jive" accent in an attempt to kowtow to the only 13% who ever mattered to him.
Something to keep in mind here is that Barack Obama had very high popularity ratings for his first few months in office. They dropped precipitously in July 2009, and I still contend to this day that the Henry Louis Gates incident and Obama's "cops acted stupidly" remark was the single biggest factor in that decline. He was elected on "hope and change," but it's incidents like that one, and video clips like this one, that expose him as nothing more than a surly black man with an Ivy League law degree.

The sad thing is it shouldn’t take this video to open peoples eyes. We’ve had almost four years of evidence spelling out exactly who The One is. Not to mention the years before he made it to the people’s house. As much as I would like to see the video be the final nail in the coffin I’m not holding my breath.
Agreed.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this is one of many such glimpses in the true nature of Obama that will come to the fore during the month of October.
I also suspect that McCain's opposition research team had all these, but McCain refused to use them. Heck, McCain derided people for even mentioning BO's middle name.
Romney will not show that kind of deference.
I think that you are correct.
