Bishop Jackson is also a graduate of Harvard Law....he calls himself an American NOT a hyphenated African-American. Great Video....pass along.

The video should be watched by everyone, even though Jackson is speaking directly to black folk.

I bet he doesn't hide his transcript either.

This might convince 1% or 2% of blacks to switch. Or am I being too optimistic?

I think there are more than that who will listen, and either not vote for obama or vote for Romney.
Will poor blacks be swayed, probably not, the democrats have scared them and kept them ignorant to the point of slavery.

If it convinces just one it will be a victory for our side ...because we care about the individual.

I sent this video to a number of people--black, white, and brown.. Hopefully, one heart will be touched.

I heard an interview on WTNT radio here in DC this morning with a A-A Democrat from Georgia, who apparently ran for state govenor and received NO support from the democrat govenor’s group or the DNC because he is not inline with the socialist white leadership of the democrip party. He said he voted for clinton, then Bush twice and for hb0, but was NOT voting for bh0 next month. His message was similar to the Bishop’s—the dems have used the black vote for their own agenda and not done anything really helpful or actually cared about issues conservative and moderate blacks are interested in.

No, really?

You mean go back to the Party of Lincoln? (Republican)

The party that passed civil rights? (Republican) even against opposition (by Democrats)

The party that did NOT sign ‘the war on poverty’ into law in order to “have them niggers voting democrat for decades”?

The party that you followed BEFORE there was massive family decay and out-of-wedlock births?

What a strange idea- he must be a hater.

This might convince 1% or 2% of blacks to switch. Enough to double the number of switchers in that particular demographic isn't small potatoes.

It’s a start.

That's right.

I'll confess, sometimes I lump people groups together and just assume they all think alike. Then, I'll have a one-on-one conversation and find that the person is nothing like what I assumed. This happens at church, in business settings, and elsewhere.

It actually breaks my heart (in a Christ-like way) when I see someone celebrating a free phone and not realizing that they just helped enslave themselves. Those phones, that food, that section 8 housing, it never was free. It came with a tremendous cost.

The media has failed to report on the tragic black-on-black killing in Chicago. I don't think it's a stretch at all to say that the killing begins with "free stuff."

A smart message from a brave man. I doubt it will change many minds in the short run, but his message gives me hope for the future. Amen!

I totally agree...
And I think gay marriage has a lot to do with it...
Church going blacks do not like that and abortion.

When my youngest was in high school, they were supposed to write a report and present it to the class with documentation.
She choose abortion as her subject. She told me the kids in the class screamed at her, she said pretty bad stuff and the teacher just sat there.......she kept talking.
For her documentation she played an Alan Keyes video that he had given her about abortion in the black community as well as one Star Parker gave her.
She started with Star and she said people started to get very quiet, ended with Alan’s video......she told me some of the girls started crying.
I was very proud of her, and she got a B+, I thought that was great.
A black gang banger came up to her later and said that in his neighborhood there were more abortion clinics than grocery stores.
For the longest time I thought he was exaggerating - I don’t think that any longer.
