BENGHAZI, Libya — More than three weeks after attacks in this city killed the U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other Americans, sensitive documents remained only loosely secured in the remains of the U.S. mission here on Wednesday, offering visitors easy access to delicate details about American operations in Libya.
Documents detailing weapons collection efforts, emergency evacuation protocols, the full internal itinerary of Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens’s trip and the personnel records of Libyans who were contracted to secure the mission were among the items scattered across the floors of the looted compound when a Washington Post reporter and a translator visited Wednesday.

At least one document found amid the clutter indicates that Americans at the mission were discussing the possibility of an attack in early September, just two days before the assault took place. The document is a memorandum dated Sept. 9 from the U.S. mission’s security office to the 17th February Martyrs Brigade, the Libyan-government-sanctioned militia that was guarding the compound, making plans for a “quick reaction force,” or QRF, that would provide security.

So... CNN and the WAPOST can search the grounds, but the FBI can’t get near the place due to ‘terrorist’ activity ?
So the Washington ComPost can put a reporter in Benghazi, but the whole U.S. Government can’t put the FBI, CIA, Army, Marines, Seals, USAF, or any other assets whatsoever on the ground to at least pick the CLASSIFIED stuff up off of the floor?
Then we’re pretty stupid if there were sensitive documents around. That’s what fireplaces are for...and secured lines.
The White House has been leaking to the New York Times on this issue but not the Washington Post. So the Post has been hitting them pretty hard.

Well, here is the smoking gun. Let’s see what the presstitutes do with it.
What I want to know is who at the WH made the decision to not secure the mission after 3 weeks? Or have they delegated everything to State to avoid responsibility?
The American people need some answers. What a cluster.

Your diplomatic facility gets ransacked, security personnel killed, ambassador raped, then killed, then raped again, then paraded naked through the streets?
I would think there is an intelligence disaster lurking back there somewhere. I would assume that there was a total security breakdown and loss of everything, including electronic security hardware, crypto hardware and software, crypto keys, backup media, wireless equipment... the whole nine yards.
Most of it will go to the highest bidder, which means Russia, China, North Korea, Iran... you name it.

I think they’re shooting for a November 7th for entry and for the official investigation to take off.
The FBI is great gathering evidence and witnesses to create the best possible court case. But this is war no matter what Obama wants to call it. All we need is the identities of the assassins, their leaders and what group they belong to. I think all that was known within a week of Stevens’ death. I think the FBI was deployed to put a legal cloak of secrecy over the whole debacle. The problem for the White House is that the U.S. diplomatic community and people in intelligence are appalled by these murders and they are leaking to the press.
