An alarmed Chris Matthews was hysterical after President Obama turned in a poor debate performance.
"I don't know what he was doing there." Chris Matthews exclaimed. "He had his head down. He was enduring rather than fighting."
"What was Romney doing?" asked Matthews. "He was winning."
My husband did remark that the Democrats were wetting themselves over Obama’s poor performance.
Makes one wonder if he cowers in the room with other world leaders the way he wilted tonight.
Don’t forget the pic in the room the day Bin Laden was killed. Now we know he was not photoshopped in, he was actually really small and wimpy in that pic. By the way, bet Hildebeast is fumin’ tonight over that performance. Puts her in the deep doodoo along with him.
Romney just hit the pinata with a big stick tonite, and a whole bunch of donor money is now going to fall all over him. He did himself a bunch of financial good with his excellent performance.
It looked to me like he was reading notes... and it also crossed my mind that he was concentrating on listening to a voice coming from a hidden ear bud.
Maybe TOTUS was displayed on his obamaphone.
I always thought that was from Obungholes earlier escapades on the streets, you know.
He even whiines about having to run for re-election on his anniversary. Punk.
If Obama loses, I’m going to be tuning into MSNBC on election night with glee. They’ll have their whole cast of characters with Madcow, Chrissy, Sharpton, Sargeant Schultz, etc.
I thought the debate was great and quite substantive in terms of outlining the differnt governing approaches... I’m still unclear as to what the press expected Obama to do differently? He seemed his typical self... slightly detached, aloof, annoyed at being question, and it was not as if he could spout platitudes about his governing plans. We already know how he will govern.
Clearly Romney had a good night... he’s a moderate, not offensive and should appeal to a great many Americans.
