BRIDGEPORT -- A local woman said she fired a shot at a man who broke into her aunt's North Avenue home early Wednesday morning.
The 27-year-old woman, who asked that her name not be used, said she is not sure if she hit the intruder. "We and the police looked around the apartment and we didn't see any bullet holes in the walls," she said.

You have to take a class and get a certificate. Then you need three letters of reference from non relatives. The police will do a criminal background check and take your fingerprints. If everything checks out you get a permit.
