The AARP, which put itself in the middle of the health care debate by endorsing ObamaCare, now is telling President Obama to keep the group out of his political talking points.
The nation's leading senior advocacy organization objected after the president during Wednesday's debate twice mentioned the AARP while defending his health care plan and attacking Mitt Romney's plans for Medicare. The AARP posted a blog saying that while the group is "grateful" the candidates had a "robust" debate on health care, the organization is not aligned with either candidate.
"While we respect the rights of each campaign to make its case to voters, AARP has never consented to the use of its name by any candidate or political campaign. AARP is a nonpartisan organization and we do not endorse political candidates nor coordinate with any candidate or political party," the group said.

Yep. and they sold out their base to hook themselves to “a star”. I tore up my card and cancelled my membership. I hope everyone does the same. There is a conservative group for seniors, AMAC, I am thinking of joining.

I don’t trust one single thing that AARP supports.
Every piece of crap I get from AARP lands in the trash,unopened.In future I just might open the stuff and return any postage paid envelope...empty.

I agree. AARP was more than willing to promote Obamacare to the senior population in order that their organization can put themselves in a position to make billions off of their medicare suppliment insurance.
They chose to lie down with dogs, and now they are trying to hide the fleas they picked up.
That's a laugh, AARP has been in Obama's back pocket since day one. AARP stabbed all of their clients in the back and sold them all out for Obam-deathcares 30 pieces of silver (actually billions of dollars in new supplemental insurance premiums they would receiver from their unsuspecting elderly clients to cover what Obama-deathcare will no longer cover that Medicare used to).
AARP used everything in its power to promote and get Obama-deathcare passed. After it was, AARP immediately applied for and received a total EXCEPTION from the entire Obama-deathcare mandate!
They benefit from the Obama-deathcare exemption and from the billions of dollars they will make off of the backs of their members from Obama-deathcare and now all of a sudden they are telling Obama: "Don't you dare use our gleaming endorsement of Obama-deathcare in you political talking points."
AARP = Sleazy, liberal company manipulating the fears and needs of the elderly for their fun and profit. I pray they lose customers by the millions.
