US jobless rate falls to 7.8 pct., 44-month low

WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. unemployment rate fell to 7.8 percent last month, dropping below 8 percent for the first time in nearly four years. The rate fell because more people found work, a trend that could impact the presidential election.

The unemployment rate is not based on receipt of unemployment benefits. If you’re looking for a job, you are unemployed.

I never figured out how correcting an inaccuracy makes one a troll, or how correcting an inaccuracy about how A is calculated proves that A itself is inaccurate.
