The Obamas have a well-documented relationship with Oprah, but now Mitt and Ann Romney have opened up to the chat show host for the first time.

The Republican power couple welcomed the media mogul into their roomy New Hampshire holiday home on Lake Winnipesaukee, to talk about family, religion, food and, of course, politics.

Casually dressed in jeans, with the top button of his shirt undone, the presidential nominee even took it upon himself to pack Ms Winfrey a doggie bag for the road, as they finished off in the kitchen.

That is the winner, she’s pandering to us. Won’t work, too late.

Oh well...

At least it appears to be a mild attempt at being slightly fair and balanced. That is more than you can usually expect from a lib.

I wouldn’t get usued to it if I were you.

The guy on the end w/ the beard, dunno - perhaps in his sparetime did officiate a wedding or two, but in fact is the late Breitbart.

I like that family vibe about them, too. A class act. And I believe in my heart that he has his grand kids in mind going forward and what kind of country they will eventually inherit.

Not much to go on... a half an arm’s worth. I’ve seen no wider-angled picture.

Oprah is one of those libs I just can’t hate. I don’t know if it’s because she had her start in Baltimore (my home stomping grounds) or what... I know she’s an Obamugabe groupie, as many are — black or white — but even so, there seems to be enough genuine American “good” in her that I can’t completely throw her aside.

I’m stockpiling a list of issues that I’d like to discuss with him in 2016.’

she strikes me as a deeply unhappy woman struggling to fill a void.

I would venture to guess that she hasn't had her void filled in quite a few moons.

Dear Admin Mod,

Let me strike just one WORD out of my last post.

It begins with B and ends with G.

Heat of the moment, strike the whole post if you think its appropriate.

That sounds like a reeaaalll happy, healthy marriage- not.

No, thank you. Sometimes the heat of the thread causes us to say things that should NOT be public.

Your prompt response is greatly appreciated.
