Boehner wary of lame-duck deficit deal

In an interview here, the Ohio Republican said cobbling together a large-scale deal during the lame duck session of Congress would not only be hard, but also the wrong thing for the country.

“I think that’s difficult to do,” Boehner said when asked about the prospects for a large-scale deficit deal in November and December. “You know, and frankly, I’m not sure it’s the right thing to do – have a lot of retiring members and defeated members voting on really big bills. Eh, probably not the appropriate way to handle the lame duck.”

Don’t even convene the House after the election. Esp. if Zer0 is held over.

Everything Obama has done.. Boehner has FINANCED.. since the pubbies took the House..
-OR- he would have DE-financed it..

Every single penny the White House or Senate spends Boehner(and cronies) MUST OK..

ALL deficit spending MUST BE passed in the House of Reps..
Boehner is a cog in the democrat traitorous wheel..

And anyone that THINKS Romney will be any different is delusional...
Republicans are watching a movie produced by Saul Alinsky..
And are eating propaganda drugged popcorn..

Glad Boehner is pouring cold water on the lame-duck deal some are currently trying to hype.

The Dems will not pass a budget...they insist on clinging to the budget passed 3 years ago.

Boehner's House DID pass a new budget. The Senate refused to take it up.

For once Boehner’s caution will serve him well.

There might be a dozen or so more Tea Party types in the House next year to help. He could sure use those votes.

“stop being a pussy. think for yourself.”

For Boner, everything is hard except his “manhood.” He IS the personification of the description “PUSSY.” I ‘d accept one less seat in the House if the idiot voters in his district turned him out, but they didn’t even field an opposition candidate.
Everyone trashes California, but I submit that Ohio is the crap state of the union. After electing a decent governor, they are still clinging to Sherrod Brown.
They evidently wouldn’t know the truth if it bit them on the ass!

[Boehner’s House DID pass a new budget. The Senate refused to take it up. ]

And virulently no one is mentioning it....
This makes the House of representatives virulently worthless and useless.. even meaningless..

And Boehner says NOTHING.. NOTHING.. never mentioned on FOX.. or by ANY pundit..
The House has effectively been cut out of the loop..
IF that is not a Coup D’ETat I don’t know what would be..

The House has effectively been cut out of the loop.

And don't forget Boehner's usual excuses:

"We are just one-half of one-third, what do you expect me to do?

AND

"It was the best deal I could get."

Yep, even when he’s defending doing the right thing, he’s a weenie. By volunteering that the unemployment rate has ‘gone down’, just not fast enough, he’s buying into and giving credibility to the Obama administration’s made up numbers.

” I’m not sure it’s the right thing to do...”

Not sure? Not sure?

What happened to “H-e-@-@ No!!!”

Boner’s words are the very reason he needs to retire.

i agree.
if i lived in Boehner’s district,
i’d vote for the DEMOCRAT,
just to get him out of the “leadership”.
-
he’s provided as much cover for Obama,
as McCain !
-
He derailed the Fast and Furious investigation.
Failed to motion about the War Powers Act in Libya
(the place we liberated so they could kill Stevens!)
and much more!

Oh, that's just so much blah-blah-blah. You'd probably have him shut down the government. I'd like that -- but it'd be a stupid move.

He derailed the Fast and Furious investigation.

How so? Issa's gotten all the support he's needed and has pursued the investigation at his own pace.

It's been deliberate, true, but that is how you build a winning case.

SOoo what you’re saying is.... The House is indeed USELESS?..
That they have absolutely NO WAY OF DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT?....

They could walk out.. hold press conferences demanding this Coup D’ETAT is dealt with?..
UNLESS.. the House of Representatives IS USELESS..

Making revolution or least revolt something the White Hut MUST consider..
Because one is thing is certain...

a COUP D’ETAT HAS HAPPENED.. is presently active and the United States is not United anymore..
Course that would screw with tailgate parties and football games..
Americans seem to have become cowards sodomists and feminized..

Oh, that's just so much blah-blah-blah.

The blah-blah-blah you refer to are direct quotes from Boehner so I assumme that is whom you are referring to.

The quote, "It was the best deal I could get." was made when he agreed to that dumb Super Committee which has equal representation between Republicans and Democrats. This effectively neutered the attainment of a hard-fought Republican majority in the House in 2010.

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant!!! The man is clueless.

I wish he would spend as much time as he spends in tanning booths running the House of Representatives.
