Romney to Obama, next debate, on jobs and unemployment
Self-vanity

Posted on 10/06/2012 6:54:44 PM PDT by mtrott

When Obama starts to brag in the next debate about the 7.8% unemployment rate, here is Romney's rejoinder:

OK, Mr. President, so in your first four years, your policies have brought the unemployment rate from 7.8% to, er, 7.8%! So, at that rate, after four more years that will put the unemployment rate at, well, exactly 7.8%.

Can you tell us why in the world should we give you another four years?

Next Presidential debate is on Foreign Policy. The one after that is the “feel your pain” Town Hall. There may be an opportunity to do this in that last debate ... but it will depend on what questions come up.

Of course, here’s an idea for everyone to consider. Given all the hoopla over the economy, jobs etc SINCE the first debate, maybe Romney should - a day or two beforehand - challenge Obama to change the format of the 2nd debate back to domestic issues.

Then, when an Obama who is completely over-prepped on Foreign Policy defers, Romney reiterates that he’ll be more than happy to stick with the planned format but publicly calls Obama out as a chicken for refusing to discuss the stuff THE PEOPLE really care about.

But wait! What is this behind your ear Uncle Sam? Oh, look at them apples – over 800,000 new jobs magically appeared in the “household” indicator! No one saw that one coming (except for every conservative “conspiracy theorist” for the past six months)!

No the 2nd debate Oct. 16th is the Town hall style on foreign and domestic issues. “The town meeting participants will be undecided voters selected by the Gallup Organization.”

The 3rd debate on October 22nd will be the foreign policy and it will be the same format as their first debate.

Unemployment can be brought up in a Foreign Policy debate. Zero is going to say “Romney wants to raise unemployment by out sources jobs”

Romney better be prepped for it. Zero will bring it up.

Next Presidential debate is on Foreign Policy.

Mitt can give him a chance to explain Libya without the teleprompter. This just gets better as it goes along

Hmmm. Just realized that big “O” logo is like a beltway, you think you are going somewhere (forward?) but then you pass the same landmark over and over and realize that you are just driving in a great big circle, going nowhere fast.
